50 Cent To Be Executive Producer For New Starz Series “Tomorrow, Today”

50 CENT CREATING THE NEW SUPERMAN?

(AllHipHop News) Gangster rapper turned business mogul Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is now in the process of developing a new series to air on Starz entitled Tomorrow, Today.

Reports in Variety indicate that the superhero drama is the first project in development from Jackson’s G-Unit Film & Television, Inc.

The concept for the superhero series, based on a screenplay from Jackson, centers around a veteran from South Side Chicago who becomes falsely imprisoned and is unfortunate enough to fall into the hands of a deranged prison doctor hell bent on creating the perfect man- an unstoppable killing machine.

The imprisoned man is set free and on the run, with the intentions of using his newfound abilities for good to reach redemption in a world that ostracized him.

The producti0n for the new show comes on the heels of a new agreement Jackson inked with Starz, which extended Jackson’s existing overall deal for another year into September 2018.

“I knew Starz would be the perfect home for Tomorrow, Today. This project is very personal to me… creating it, writing it, finding the best team for it and I will continue to be involved every step of the way,” Jackson said in a statement.

Jackson’s other executive produced show with the network Power is in its second season and has achieved much success.
