Billboard indicates that the album is his first project to ever claim the top spot on the Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums Chart, with the set selling 43,000 copies in its first week ending July 28 as reported by Nielsen Music.

Up to this point in his career it is his best performing album on the chart were his 2009 release, The State Vs. Radric Davis and 2010’s The Appeal: Georgia’s Most Wanted, each of which debuted and peaked at No. 2 on the charts.

Gucci’s first number one debut has also broken his second place tie with Lil Wayne for most albums on the chart by a rapper, with Leflare now having 28-charted titles under his belt.

E-40 currently leads the pack, with the Bay legend managing to get 32 titles placed on the charts.
