Travis Scott Inks Worldwide Publishing Deal With Universal Music Publishing Group

UMPG WILL REPRESENT SCOTT’S ENTIRE CATALOG

(AllHipHop News) Hip-Hop star Travis Scott continues his momentum after his latest release Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight. 

The rapper has now signed an exclusive, worldwide publishing deal with  Grand Hustle/Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG).

According to Universal Music, UMPG along with Grand Hustle will be representing Scott’s entire catalogue, including his newest album, which was released through Grand Hustle and Epic Records.

“I’ve been chasing Travis Scott for years. His talent and ambitions are limitless. He’s a rock star, as well as being a brilliant writer/producer,” said Jody Gerson, Chairman and CEO of UMPG.

The news comes on the heels of his sophomore album Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight achieving the No.1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart.

The album also debuted at No.14 in the UK and has over 29 million Spotify streams.

Additionally, it was also recently announced that Travis will be executive producer for the upcoming G.O.O.D. Music album Cruel Winter, expected to be released early next year.
