Teyana Taylor recently stopped by The Wendy Williams show to talk becoming an “overnight sensation” from Kanye West’s “Fade” video, her marriage to Iman Shumpert, comparison to Rihanna, and more.
Teyana stated that “Fade” was a very emotional moment for her that went beyond a sports bra and a thong. Had she not been through what she’d been through; had her baby Junie, and been in love, the “Fade” moment wouldn’t have been as big for her or as successful.
Although Wendy asked Teyana earlier in the segment if she was married, it wasn’t until Teyana was discussing how happy she was with her beautiful baby and “wonderful husband” that Wendy realized that she did in fact confirm that she had gotten married secretly!
