Romeo Miller Discusses Strained Relationship With His Mother (VIDEO)

THE “GROWING UP HIP HOP” STAR SPEAKS WITH ANGELA YEE

(AllHipHop News) The cast of Growing Up Hip Hop sat down with Power 105’s Angela Yee at New York City’s Paley Center for Media for a panel discussion.

At one point, Yee asked Romeo Miller if his mother would be making an appearance on the WE tv reality show.

In 2015, Sonya Miller filed a lawsuit against her son claiming his father Percy “Master P” Miller was using Romeo to avoid paying her money from the family’s No Limit label.

Romeo has admitted his parents’ very public divorce has caused a rift in his relationship with his mother.

Yee questioned the 27-year-old entertainer if Growing Up Hip Hop would allow Sonya Miller to give her side of the situation.

“That was something that I would have wanted to keep private, but when you grow up in the spotlight people always want to dig and dig,” said Romeo. “It’s a situation that’s very serious. It’s not a joke to me. When it comes to my mom, this is life or death.”

He added, “With my mother, it’s one of those things where you gotta watch the show to see if she appears. But this is real life.”
