Meek Mill Takes Credit For The “Philly Cypher” At The BET Hip Hop Awards

(AllHipHop News) The city of Philadelphia was heavily represented at this year’s BET Hip Hop Awards cyphers.

State Property members Peedi Crakk, Neef, Omillio Sparks, Freeway, and Beanie Sigel reunited during the “Philly Cypher” for the ceremony.

Fellow Philadelphia native Meek Mill claimed he was directly responsible for that rhyming session coming together.

“I’m the one who pitched a Philly cypher and getting Philly more involved with BET,” Meek wrote on Instagram. “Alley ooping a n-gga that’s throwing shade but still catching blessings!”

The cyphers were recorded prior to Meek and Beanie Sigel having a very public falling out.

The two rappers have been taking shots at other on social media and in interviews for several weeks.
