(AllHipHop News) It looks like the record deal between Azealia Banks and RZA is not going to happen.
According to TMZ, Banks is upset RZA did not take her side after an alleged confrontation that took place at Russell Crowe’s hotel party.
The Harlem performer was negotiating a deal with RZA’s label for the last three weeks.
However, Banks apparently made it clear to a rep for the Wu-Tang Clan member that she was no longer interested in the business partnership.
Azealia accused Crowe of calling her “n-gger” and physically assaulting her.
The Oscar-winning actor denied Banks’ claims.
Other attendees at the Beverly Hills event, including RZA, supposedly backed up Crowe’s version of the incident.
The guests reportedly said it was Azealia that used the n-word.
RZA brought Banks to the party as a plus-1.
