Was the Los Angeles emcee genuinely upset with Meek? Or was the entire ordeal really just a publicity stunt?
It appears the answer will not matter much since Game’s latest project 1992 is projected to open with low first week numbers.
Billboard reports the LP is on pace to collect around 25,000 sales plus streaming units.
The project reportedly collected between 21,000 and 24,000 copies in actual sales.
That predicted sales range means Game is likely to sell about 60,000 fewer copies than 2015’s The Documentary 2 (83,000).
In addition, 1992 is looking to sell about half the opening total of The Documentary 2.5 (42,000) which was released one week after The Documentary 2.
21,000 – 24,000 would also be the lowest first-week sales of Game’s career.
Kings Of Leon’s Walls is expected to land at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart with 70,000 equivalent album units.
