Common and Serena Get Back Together – For ESPN

COMMON AND SERENA HAVE REUNITED!!

(AllHipHop News) Rapper Common and his former girlfriend Serena Williams are back together – for a new ESPN special.

The pair, who dated for two years, but broke up in 2010, will be part of an ESPN series called “The Undefeated In-Depth: Serena with Common.”

The two ex-lovers sit down for a candid discussion about Serena’s career, being an African-American woman at the top of her game, social issues and “body shaming,” which impacted Serena early on in her career.

“There was a time where I didn’t feel incredibly comfortable about my body, because I felt like I was too strong. And then I had to take a second and think, who says I’m too strong? This body has enabled me to be the greatest player I can be and I’m not going to scrutinize that. This is great. I mean, this is amazing.”

“Serena with Common” is the third episode of a series created by the editors of The Undefeated, featuring meaningful conversations with African-American sports figures who are accomplished in their sport or profession.

Common is also executive producing a series of taped conversations that will be hosted on TheUndefeated.com, with executive producers Harry Belafonte, political commentator Charles Blow, and #BlackLivesMatter leader DeRay Mckesson.

“Serena and Common” will air this Sunday, (December 18th) at 9:00 p.m. on ESPN.
