Birdman got many Lil Wayne fans excited when he promised that Wayne’s highly-anticipated ‘Tha Carter V’ album would indeed be coming out.
The Cash Money boss stopped by Travis Scott’s Beats 1 Radio Show, where he let out a few details about the project’s release.
“Carter V coming out. It’s definitely coming out. The situation with me and my son, bruh — I’ma put all of that behind us and just let it move forward.”
Welp, when it seemed like all was well or at least under construction, it seems like Weezy is shutting down those claims.
According to TMZ, sources close to Lil Wayne claim that he has yet to hear anything about settling his $51 million lawsuit, and until he does nothing will change.
The insider also revealed that last week Birdman allegedly met with Universal Music Group, to try to come up with a price that will pacify Lil Wayne.
Remember last week a post on Wayne’s Facebook hinted on the fact that we would see several projects from him including the ‘Tha Carter V’.
