Did Drake Turn Down $750K To Perform At Floyd Mayweather Event During Trump’s Inauguration?

LOOKS LIKE DRIZZY WASN’T TRYING TO CATCH ANY HEAT…

(AllHipHop Rumors) Floyd Mayweather was not shy about his support for Donald Trump.

The boxing icon was even one of the rare celebrities to show up for Trump’s Inauguration.

Well, it looks like Floyd did not want to be the only famous person partying with Team Trump that weekend.

People are saying he tried to recruit Drake to perform at a DC “fundraising event” the same weekend Trump walked into the White House.

NY Daily News reports:

According to our insider, Drake was initially offered $750,000 to perform, but turned it down because all of the pushback that artists performing in Washington, D.C., on Inauguration Day were getting.

“Floyd tried to assure him that this was not a political ball,” we’re told. “That it was a fund-raiser tied to mentoring kids.”

Seems like Drake said no to the $750K, but insiders claim he thought about taking the gig for $1.5 million.

The organizers said they weren’t shelling out that much.

Was it a good idea for Drake to turn down all that money? Maybe.

The internet continues to drag people like Kanye West, Steve Harvey, and Chrisette Michelle for being anywhere near Trump.
