O.J. Simpson’s Lawyer Says His Kids, Family Were NOT At His Death Bed

Contrary to reports that O.J. Simpson’s final moments were witnessed by his children, his lawyer claims none of them were present.

The latest details about the former NFL star’s death come a week after he passed away on April 10 following a battle with prostate cancer.

At the time, his family announced his death via a poignant statement on social media.

In an emotional interview with the Associated Press, Simpson’s attorney, Malcolm LaVergne, recently addressed his final moments.

He debunked the claims that his client had died surrounded by loved ones — which was shared by the family on X.

Their message alleged Simpson “succumbed to his battle with cancer” while “surrounded by his children and grandchildren.”

But according to LaVergne, the 76-year-old passed away in the presence of just a “close family member.”

But he stressed that it did not diminish Simpson’s children’s love for their father.

“You have to remember that they’ve shared O.J. with the world their entire lives,” LaVergne shared, adding: “At first, they shared good O.J. But still he was famous. And then, from 1994 on, they kind of had to share bad boy O.J. with the world. But at the end of the day, these children just lost a father.”

Kanye West Reportedly Suspected Of Battery Of Man Who Allegedly Struck Bianca Censori

Kanye West could find himself in trouble with the law again as cops are reportedly investigating claims he got into an altercation with an unnamed man.

LAPD named Ye as the suspect in an alleged battery, according to TMZ, whose source says cops received a report West punched a man in the face Tuesday night (April 16). Few other details are known, but the man West struck allegedly pushed or grabbed West’s wife, Bianca Censori

The outlet reports the alleged victim was not severely injured and did not require treatment. While the couple reportedly left after the alleged altercation, law enforcement intend to speak to West as part of their investigation. LAPD is also seeking witnesses to the alleged altercation.

It’s not the first time Kanye West has faced battery accusations. An autograph-seeking fan sued West earlier this year for punching him several times, “severely injuring him.”The autograph hunter filed suit for assault and battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence and loss of consortium.

Additionally, in 2023, a paparazzo sued Kanye West for assault, battery, negligence and violation of her civil rights. The woman claimed he reached into her car, took her phone and threw it into the street.

Meanwhile, Kanye West appears in good spirits despite his apparent legal woes. West and Censori were spotted among the visitors at Disneyland on Wednesday (April 17), the day after the alleged battery.

Rapper Yung Lean also joined the couple. A photo surfaced of the group on the Hyperspace Mountain ride, with Ye poking his tongue out.

Jaden Smith & Justin Bieber’s Coachella “Kiss” Goes Viral

Jaden Smith and Justin Bieber linked up at Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Indio, California this weekend—and now, a clip of their interaction is going viral.

In a video making the rounds online, Smith runs up to Bieber from behind and wraps his arms around him. Bieber, in turn, kisses him on the cheek. Naturally, the gesture raised a few eyebrows and people quickly ran to Twitter (X) to weigh in on the public display of affection.

Many, of course, jumped to conclusions and assumed their “intimate” moment meant they were somehow romantically linked. But Bieber has been married to Hailey Baldwin for five years and has had a string of high profile relationships with several women, including Selena Gomez and Kendall Jenner. Still, people couldn’t stop themselves from making jokes or expressing their confusion.

As one person wrote, “I’m sorry but this is not normal. No one is allowed to touch me like that if they are not my man, even my girlfriends don’t approach me like that.” Another asked, “Why TF Do I See Justin Bieber & Jaden Smith Hugging & Kissing On My Timeline??”

Jaden Smith and Justin Bieber’s friendship goes back decades. In 2010, they teamed up for Biebs’ single “Never Say Never” for the film The Karate Kid and, more recently, on 2020’s “Falling For You.” In 2018, Smith announced he was “sexually fluid” during an appearance at Tyler, The Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw carnival. He added, “I just wanna say Tyler, The Creator is the best friend in the world. And I love him so f###### much, and I wanna tell you guys something, I wanna tell you, Tyler doesn’t wanna say, but Tyler is my mother f###### boyfriend. And he’s been my mother f###### boyfriend my whole f###### life.”

Tyler was seen backstage laughing it off and ultimately flipping Smith the middle finger. But Smith has other things to think about. He’ll be hitting the road with Kid Cudi on June 28 as part of The Insano World Tour alongside Pusha T and EarthGang.

Tupac Shakur Estate Rebukes Drake For “Blatant Abuse” Of Pac’s Legacy In AI Diss Lawsuit Threat

Tupac Shakur’s estate issued a cease-and-desist letter to Drake. The estate threatened to sue Drake if he did not take down his Kendrick Lamar diss track “Taylor Made Freestyle,” which featured AI-generated Tupac vocals.

“The Estate is deeply dismayed and disappointed by your unauthorized use of Tupac’s voice and personality,” the estate’s attorney Howard King wrote, per Billboard. “Not only is the record a flagrant violation of Tupac’s publicity and the estate’s legal rights, it is also a blatant abuse of the legacy of one of the greatest Hip-Hop artists of all time. The Estate would never have given its approval for this use.”

Last week, Drake released his “Taylor Made Freestyle.” Drake used the AI-generated voices of Tupac and Snoop Dogg to taunt Kendrick on the song. Tupac’s estate criticized Drake for dragging the late rapper into the Canadian star’s feud with Kendrick.

“The unauthorized, equally dismaying use of Tupac’s voice against Kendrick Lamar, a good friend to the Estate who has given nothing but respect to Tupac and his legacy publicly and privately, compounds the insult,” King wrote.

Tupac’s estate accused Drake of violating the Hip-Hop legend’s publicity rights. The estate demanded a “detailed explanation for how the sound-alike was created” along with the diss track’s removal.

“If you comply, the estate will consider whether an informal negotiation to resolve this matter makes sense,” King told Drake. “If you do not comply, our client has authorized this firm to pursue all of its legal remedies including, but not limited to, an action for violation of … the estate’s copyright, publicity and personality rights and the resulting damages, injunctive relief and punitive damages and attorneys’ fees.”

Drake and Kendrick’s long-brewing beef finally erupted in March. Kendrick dissed Drake on Future and Metro Boomin’s song “Like That.” Drake responded with the diss track “Push Ups” in April. He followed it up with the “Taylor Made Freestyle.”

Playboi Carti Finessed Kanye West Out Of $2M—Not Adin Ross?

Playboi Carti appeared to be playing Robin Hood when he finessed streamer Adin Ross out of $2 million earlier this year, except he robbed the hood and Kanye West.

According to YesJulz, well somewhat, West had a deal in place similar to the one Carti made with Ross in February to do a stream. If you’re unfamiliar with the situation, Carti pocketed $2 million for six minutes of airtime on stream with Ross.

21 Savage actually pressed Ross about the entire situation as well because he had previously did a stream with him and didn’t receive nearly the same payday—even though he stayed for the entire stream.

And while the Playboi Carti stream actually went down, albeit briefly, West didn’t even make it past the ideation stage. Long story short, Carti didn’t really block West’s bag, but Ross didn’t really honor his obligation to furnish West’s bag either. Again, this is where YesJulz comes in because apparently the same $2 million Ross handed over to Carti, West was going to split and bust down with the kids. But that didn’t happen—allegedly.

“I was talking to Adin about doing a stream with Ye and we were going to do it,” YesJulz said in part in a video stream. “Adin was going to pay a million and then pay another million to charity. But, he ended up not coming through on the second million to charity and he said something kind of slick. And, we decided not to do it because we didn’t feel could trust…”

So who’s the real bad guy here? Is it Ross for frivolously spending and snubbing charitible donation in favor of the Vamp leader’s presence? Is it Ye for backing out of the stream? Or is it YesJulz for yet again breaking her rumored $8 million NDA?

Check out the post below and decide for yourself.

Ice Cube & BIG3 Co-Founder Accuse Caitlin Cark’s Agents Of Working For “NBA Mob”

Ice Cube and his business partner Jeff Kwatinetz claimed a sports agency sabotaged their efforts to sign Caitlin Clark to their BIG3 basketball league. Kwatinetz accused Excel Sports Management of never presenting the BIG3’s multi-million offer to Clark in an op-ed reposted on Ice Cube’s website.

“We have reason to believe these male agents and executives controlling the sport never even shared our trailblazing offer with Caitlin let alone facilitated Caitlin meeting with the BIG3 to discuss the opportunity,” Kwatinetz wrote. “From our perspective, these representatives don’t seem to work for an individual client like Caitlin. They seem to work for the NBA mob, as their client list is a who’s who of NBA players. Do we expect them to prioritize Caitlin over the NBA – the top employer of their most highly paid clients?”

Clark was the No. 1 draft pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft. Kwatinetz suggested Clark’s agents hid the BIG3’s offer from the women’s basketball star out of loyalty to the NBA, which partially funds the WNBA.

“The NBA commands by fear, and they make sure their industry of agents, lawyers, managers and networks stay in line,” Kwatinetz wrote. “And that line is to prevent BIG3 success, even if it stunts the growth of women’s basketball. Amid current negotiations of critical NBA new media deals, you can imagine the pressure on the NBA feeder system easily trumps any of Caitlin’s or other promising woman players’ best interests.”

Kwatinetz disclosed details of BIG3’s offer to Clark. According to Kwatinetz, Clark could’ve earned at least $15 million.

“Ten million dollars of salary over two years, a percentage of team ownership worth millions, fifty percent of merchandising revenues from her name and likeness and ownership of a BIG3 documentary with a seven-figure advance,” he wrote. “In total, we’re talking fifteen million dollars or more to merely play a ten-game season. While still allowing her to play in the WNBA.”

Ice Cube confirmed reports of BIG3’s offer to Clark in March. Clark said she “found out about the BIG3 thing the same time you all did” when asked about it during the 2024 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament.

Diddy’s Alleged “Mule” Enters Plea In Drug Case

The man accused of being Diddy’s drug mule pleaded not guilty to cocaine possession in Florida on Wednesday (April 24). According to multiple reports, Brendan Paul did not appear in court for his arraignment. The 25-year-old suspect’s lawyer entered the plea on his behalf.

“We entered Brendan’s plea of not guilty in court today,” attorney Brian Bieber told Miami’s WPLG. “We will be dealing with this case in the courtroom, not the court of public opinion.”

Paul was arrested for cocaine possession and possession of a controlled substance in March. Police apprehended him on the same day the feds raided Diddy’s homes to investigate allegations of sex trafficking.

Cops said Paul brought cocaine and marijuana candy on a chartered plane at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport. Diddy was a suspected passenger on the flight, but Paul’s arrest report did not mention the Hip-Hop mogul. Paul was released on $2,500 bond.

Prosecutors dropped Paul’s possession of a controlled substance charge. The former Syracuse basketball player was named in producer Lil Rod’s bombshell lawsuit against Diddy. Lil Rod claimed Paul obtained and distributed drugs and guns for Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs.

Lil Rod accused Diddy of running a “dangerous criminal sex trafficking organization.” The producer filed the lawsuit after multiple women sued Diddy for sexual assault.

The Bad Boy Records founder maintained his innocence. Diddy’s attorney Aaron Dyer criticized Homeland Security’s “excessive show of force and hostility” after March’s raids.

“This unprecedented ambush — paired with an advanced, coordinated media presence — leads to a premature rush to judgment of Mr. Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits,” Dyer said. “There has been no finding of criminal or civil liability with any of these allegations. Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every single day to clear his name.”

Diddy settled a lawsuit filed by his ex-girlfriend Cassie in November 2023. No settlements have been reached with the rest of his accusers.

TDE Rapper Reason Says Kanye West’s “Aging Like Milk”

Reason has no problem voicing opinions about trending topics in Hip-Hop culture. For example, the Top Dawg Entertainment recording artist shared his thoughts on the current career status of Kanye “Ye” West.

The polarizing Kanye West recently garnered headlines for his verse on a remix of “Like That” which aimed at Drake and J. Cole. Additionally, some interview quotes by West sparked a lot of online commotion, particularly Ye claiming he worked with Future to accelerate the “elimination of Drake.”

On Tuesday (April 23), SinceThe80s president Barry Hefner tweeted, “Kanye is not aging gracefully. He seems so miserable about every little part of life.” Reason quote-tweeted Hefner and added, “Aging like milk.”

Reason returned to the X social media platform to provide another comment about Kanye West. The California-based MC also tweeted, “I know this an old and tired ideology, but if Ye really cared and snapped into a better and happier mindset, he could still be the GOAT we knew and loved.”

Kanye West and Drake have been feuding for years. The sometimes allies/sometimes enemies have thrown jabs at each other in songs and interviews for over a decade. In March, Ye slammed Drake in an Instagram post for supposedly aligning himself with Lil Durk amid Drizzy’s ongoing clash with Kendrick Lamar.

Reason also weighed in on the Drake vs Kendrick Lamar rivalry. The Porches album creator praised the production of Drake’s “Push Ups” diss record directed at Lamar. He later rapped over Drake’s “8AM in Charlotte” beat as the beef with K. Dot played out.

Kendrick Lamar split with Top Dawg Entertainment to launch his pgLang company. Reason remains on TDE but has been involved in public spats with executives. Plus, the West Coast rhymer implied that he wants to leave the Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith-led label.

Coi Leray Claims Republic Records Wanted Her To Make Pop Songs Like Taylor Swift & Ariana Grande

Coi Leray no longer releases music via Republic Records. The New Jersey-raised rapper/singer signed a deal with Island Records for her current era.

Evidently, Republic Records had different plans for Coi Leray from what she produced for the label. The Trendsetter album creator spoke about those apparent creative differences on a recent Instagram Live.

“I’m not on Republic Records no more. I’m on Island,” Coi Leray stated. “When I dropped Blue Moon, Republic, they wanted pop s###. They wanted some Taylor Swift/Ariana Grande s###, which I can do, but I still like to work on my own pace and my own time.”

Leray also spoke about how she is still working on developing her sound. In addition, the 26-year-old recording artist suggested Republic did not want to put money behind promoting her Blue Moon EP which came out in 2023.

The Trendsetter album dropped in April 2022. Coi Leray’s Republic-backed debut studio LP only peaked at No. 89 on the Billboard 200 chart. 2023’s Coi only made it to No. 102 on the weekly rankings. Blue Moon failed to chart.

While Leray struggled to find commercial success with her projects, the Grammy Award nominee did score a Top 10 entry on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with the “Players” single. “No More Parties” with Lil Durk and “Blick Blick” with Nicki Minaj became Top 40 hits as well.

TikTok Faces Ban In U.S. After Joe Biden Signs National Security Bill

UPDATE: President Joe Biden has signed into law measures forcing ByteDance to divest from TikTok.

TikTok’s China-based parent company may have to sell the popular social media platform. On Tuesday (April 23), the United States Senate passed a bill requiring ByteDance to divest its stakes in TikTok within nine months or face the app being banned from U.S. stores.

Congress included the divestment requirement in a $95 billion security package that provides foreign aid to Ukraine and Israel. President Joe Biden has indicated he will sign the bill into law. The ban could go into effect as early as January 2025, but Biden can grant an extension.

TikTok possibly losing access to the American market would likely have a major impact on the music industry. Many songs became hits thanks to users incorporating the records into dance and challenge videos.

Rappers Soulja Boy & Coi Leray Already Addressed Possible TikTok Ban

Acts such as Soulja Boy and Coi Leray previously commented on the possibility of a TikTok prohibition. In March, Soulja Boy reacted to the House of Representatives passing a TikTok-related bill. He joked, “I made 32K in one day this [is] why they tryna ban TikTok.”

That same month, Leray tweeted, “TikTok is not a streaming platform. And I never looked at it as one. I’m not worried. As long as you don’t take away Apple Music, Spotify, Soundcloud, Tidal, [Audiomack], YouTube Music, Amazon Music, I’m good. Music and the love I have for it, is forever.”

ByteDance Will Likely Challenge Legislation In Court

Republican presidential candidate/former U.S. President Donald Trump backed a TikTok ban while in office, citing national security concerns, before flip-flopping to blaming Biden for the assumed outcome. If Biden signs the national security supplemental package, ByteDance will likely challenge the statute in court on First Amendment grounds.

In November 2023, a federal judge blocked Montana’s attempt to institute a state ban on TikTok, citing free speech concerns. U.S. District Judge Donald Molloy ruled the ban “likely violates the First Amendment” and had a “pervasive undertone of anti-Chinese sentiment.”

Rico Wade’s Family Announces Invitation Only Funeral Service

Dungeon Family founder Rico Wade will be eulogized in a private funeral for family and close friends on Friday (April 26). The event will take place at the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta and is invitation only. While the service is private, the media is invited to cover the attendees’ arrivals as 68 members of Clark Atlanta’s band perform hits produced by Organized Noize outside of the church. A much larger celebration of life for the late Organized Noize legend is expected in the coming weeks.

Rico Wade died unexpectedly on April 12 at the age of 52. Although he’d experienced some recent health issues, including a heart value repair, he was seemingly on the road to recovery. Just months ago, he spoke with AllHipHop about seeing Andrê 3000 perform his latest album, New Blue Sun, and touched on what he’d been going through.

“My heart had ruptured a valve and it was dripping, and they just rerouted it,” he told AllHipHop in March. “I have heart conditions on my father’s side. I didn’t really know it. On my mom’s side, she’s got alcoholism. A lot of the Outkast success was great, but after that, I got into a little bit of a depression or whatever, so I was drinking a little bit more than I was supposed to. And I was doing it over 10, 15 years. And eventually, I couldn’t blame anything else for the negative in my life so I cut it out. I feel like I’m so much more clear and confident, and that’s the person that I want to be for the past 20 years.”

The surviving members of Organized Noize—Sleepy Brown and Ray Murray—released a statement shortly after Wade’s passing. It read: “We are devastated by the news of the passing of our dear brother Rico Wade. The world has lost one of the most innovative architects in music, and we have lost an invaluable friend. Rico was the cornerstone of Organized Noize and the Dungeon Family, and we will forever treasure his memory and the moments we shared, creating music as a united team.

“Our hearts weigh heavy with sorrow, and we kindly request privacy and empathy during this challenging period. Rico’s presence will always have a special spot in our hearts, and in the music we presented to the world.”

Big Sean Declares Wiz Khalifa Dominated Mixtape Era

Big Sean made a name for himself as a rising Hip-Hop artist between 2007 and 2010 with the Finally Famous mixtape series. However, according to the Michigan native, Wiz Khalifa ruled over that period with his mixtape output.

Essence interviewed Big Sean for the cover of the magazine’s Of The ESSENCE. The Detroit-bred MC spoke about his appreciation for Khalifa’s musical work in the 2010s.

“To me, Wiz Khalifa dominated the mixtape era,” Big Sean stated. “That’s some of the best product right there—that Kush & Orange and Cabin Fever. Along with Dedication by Wayne.”

Wiz Khalifa went on an impressive three-tape run with 2010’s Kush & Orange Juice, 2011’s Cabin Fever and 2012’s Taylor Allderdice. The Pittsburgh-bred Hip-Hop star plans to drop a sequel to Kush & Orange Juice which he has already crowned a classic.

Big Sean made waves with his three-volume Finally Famous streak. The former Kanye West protégé and G.O.O.D. Music representative also garnered critical acclaim for 2012’s Detroit mixtape. He later released Detroit 2 as a studio album in 2020.

In addition to Wiz Khalifa and Big Sean, other acts helped elevate Hip-Hop mixtapes between 2005 and 2015. Rappers like Lil Wayne (The Dedication), Drake (So Far Gone), Nicki Minaj (Beam Me Up Scotty), Future (Monster), J. Cole ( Friday Night Lights), Wale (The Mixtape About Nothing) and Nipsey Hussle (The Marathon) put out stellar bodies of work.

“The Root” Catches Heat For Comparing Megan Thee Stallion To Diddy Following Harassment Lawsuit

Megan Thee Stallion became the latest music artist to face litigation over alleged misconduct. That pending lawsuit led to an African-American-focused media outlet making a comparison between the rap star born Megan Pete and Hip-Hop mogul/accused sex trafficker Sean “Diddy” Combs.

On Tuesday (April 23), The Root posted a tweet that read, “Is Megan Thee Stallion the Female Diddy? Crazy Sexual Harassment Allegations Show We Never Know Celebs.”

The Root’s X account eventually deleted that tweet after the post amassed more than 228,000 views on the platform. However, the deletion did not stop other X users from calling out the Henry Louis Gates Jr. and Donald E. Graham-founded online magazine.

Cultural critic Carolyn Hinds blasted The Root. Hinds tweeted, “The two situations are NOTHING ALIKE AT ALL. To make these kinds of incorrect and unequal comparisons in a situation like this is absolutely gross and journalistic malpractice. Stop trying to be like Bossip and have some [damn] decorum.”

Another person wrote, “The Root wrote an inflammatory headline about Megan Thee Stallion [because] they knew [people] would quote tweet it with disgust. They’ve been going downhill for a few years now. Desperation breeds depravity.”

Someone else posted, “The Root asked was Megan the ‘female Diddy.’ Please get a grip.” Additionally, an X user accused the 16-year-old publication of being “anti-Black.”

Emilio Garcia sued Megan Thee Stallion in Los Angeles County Superior Court over complaints of harassment and hostile work environments. The rapper’s ex-cameraman claimed Megan had sex with a woman in a moving vehicle while he was in the car.

“This is an employment claim for money — with no sexual harassment claim filed and with salacious accusations to attempt to embarrass her,” Megan’s attorney, Alex Spiro, stated. “We will deal with this in court.”

Kanye West Launching Yeezy Pornographic Film Studio?

Kanye West once admitted to having an addiction to pornography and claimed that habit damaged his family life. According to a new report, Ye still wants to do business in the sex industry.

Playboy was my gateway into full-blown pornography addiction,” Kanye West revealed in 2019. “My dad had a Playboy left out at age five, and it’s affected almost every choice I made for the rest of my life. From age five to now having to kick the habit.”

A new TMZ article claims Kanye West has plans to lean into his apparent pornography dependence by launching a Yeezy adult film studio. Apparently, the Grammy Award winner has been speaking with the ex-husband of famous pornographic film actress Stormy Daniels about the potential venture.

West has expressed conflicting views about pornography. At one point, he served as a co-creative director for the first-ever Pornhub Awards in 2018. The “I Love It” performer also denounced pornography four years later.

“Don’t let [Kris Jenner] make you do Playboy like she made [Kylie Jenner] and [Kim Kardashian] do,” Ye wrote on Instagram in 2022, in response to a video by Instagram personality Victoria Villarroel.

Kanye West also mentioned two of his children in that 2022 IG post. He added, “Hollywood is a giant brothel. Pornography destroyed my family. I deal with the addiction. Instagram promotes it. Not gonna let it happen to Northy and Chicago.”

Nicki Minaj Dotes On Son Papa Bear In Adorable “Day In The Life” Video

Nicki Minaj may be a global superstar, selling out stadiums, night after night on her worldwide tour but she still makes sure she spends valuable time with her precious little boy Papa Bear.

Ahead of her Pink Friday 2 Tour stop in Chicago on Tuesday (April 24), Nicki Minaj made time for a family outing to the aquarium with her husband Kenneth Petty, and their son whom the couple nicknamed Papa Bear.

In footage from the trip Minaj posted on Instagram, the adorable three-year-old looks proud of himself as he strokes a penguin. Other sides show the family enjoying the attractions including a dolphin show.

Nicki previously joked that her son “acts like” the lead character in the 2017 animation, “The Boss Baby,” and “runs everything.” It appears little has changed. Minaj dubbed one video “a day in the life of a boy mom.” Papa Bear busied himself making friends while the “FTCU” hitmaker wass left waiting around.

“We thought we were coming to go to the aquarium,” she says in the clip. “Instead, Papa had other plans. He had plans to just chill in the cafeteria with newfound friends that he made. So, we’re just sitting here waiting on Papa to be done.”

In a 2023 appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” Nick Minaj explained how she was “selfish” before having Papa Bear. However, since his arrival in September 2020, her little boy has come first.

“There’s this thing that happens every day when I see his face, which is more than anything money could buy in the world, really,” she said.

Diddy “Will Be Indicted Soon,” Lil Rod’s Lawyer Says, Accuses Mogul Of Smear Campaign

Lil Rod’s lawyer claims Diddy will soon be indicted and accused the mogul of pushing back against his client’s bombshell lawsuit by attempting to dredge up the producer’s past spats with the law to distract from the suit and federal investigation into sex trafficking and other harrowing allegations.

According to Page Six, Diddy’s legal team is reportedly highlighting Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones’ rap sheet claiming his past arrests and convictions throw his credibility into question.

Court documents obtained by the outlet showed Lil Rod was convicted of reckless homicide in 2003. He also faced multiple assault charges, including misdemeanor sexual assault, that were later dismissed.

However, Lil Rod’s attorney said Diddy is trying to smear his client because time is running out.

“[Diddy’s] legal team can do nothing to distract from the fact that he will be indicted soon,” Tyrone Blackburn told Page Six.

In response to the assault charges, the attorney said “a charge is not a conviction.”

Blackburn also addressed the 2003 reckless homicide conviction. He claimed a 17-year-old Jones was pulled over by police but was afraid to stop and drove off.

“It was pretty typical behavior for a young black boy in Chicago when pulled over by the police. As a result, he totaled the vehicle, and his cousin, who was his best friend, died,” he added.

Diddy vehemently denies Jones’ allegations and has already dismissed the lawsuit as “pure fiction.”

Remy Ma Responds With Violence To Troll Calling Her Broke: “S### Unless You Wanna Fight”

Remy Ma responded with violence when a troll suggested she was broke, warning that fighting is her first resort.

On Tuesday (April 23), the “Ghetto & Ratchet” hitmaker was talking to fans on Instagram Live while getting her eyebrows tinted when a troll hopped in the chat calling her broke.

Remy, who served six years behind bars for shooting a woman in 2007, was quick to respond. “How am I giving broke? Explain b####,” she clapped back.  “Girl shut up. Shut the f### up unless you wanna fight b####.”

After blocking the troll, Remy Ma explained that violence was her instinctual reaction.

“I’m never going to not want to fight. I don’t give a f### if I’m 95 years old, I’m never going to not want to fight,” she added. I’m going to always want to resort to violence. Like seriously. “

Remy said she refuses to argue back and forth on the internet and prefers to handle things in person. “I look at people that argue with people online weird. I want to see you, where you at?” she added.

While Remy Ma says she settles her disputes with violence, she escaped assault charges following an alleged attack on her Love and Hip Hop New York co-star Brittney Taylor in 2019.

Although she was initially arrested and charged in connection with the incident at an Irving Plaza benefit concert, the charges were dropped when the sole eyewitness stopped cooperating with prosecutors.

Megan Thee Stallion’s Lawyer Dubs “Salacious” Lawsuit A Money Grab

Megan Thee Stallion’s lawyer has responded to sexual harassment allegations from a cameraman suing the rapper, branding the lawsuit a money grab.

Emilio Garcia accused Megan of creating a hostile work environment and claimed he was forced to watch his boss have sex with another woman.

In a statement to Page Six, Megan’s attorney Alex Spiro dismissed the suit as an attempt to defame his client for financial gain.

“This is an employment claim for money — with no sexual harassment claim filed and with salacious accusations to attempt to embarrass her,” he said. “We will deal with this in court.”

Garcia, who sought more than six figures in his lawsuit, claims he became the rapper’s cameraman in 2018, per NBC News. In 2019 he quit his job to work for her full time.

In his suit, Garcia recalled an incident in Ibiza in June 2022 when he was stuck in a car with Megan and three other women. He alleged Megan began having sex with a woman next to him but claims he “could not get out of the car as it was both moving, and he was in the middle of nowhere in a foreign country.”

The following day, Garcia alleged Megan told him “Don’t ever discuss what you saw.” He continued working for Megan until June 2023 but claimed he was treated differently after the Ibiza trip.

Garcia said in the suit that his compensation structure was changed, and he subsequently received fewer bookings. His lawsuit cited alleged violations regarding his misclassification as an independent contractor.

Garcia’s lawyer Says Megan Thee Stallion Needs To Pay Up

“Megan just needs to pay our client what he’s due, own up to her behavior and quit this sort of sexual harassment and fat-shaming conduct,” Garcia’s lawyer Ron Zambrano said. “Emilio should never have been put in a position of having to be in the vehicle with her while she had sex with another woman. ‘Inappropriate’ is putting it lightly. Exposing this behavior to employees is illegal.”

Kanye West Admits Punching Man For Alleged Assault On Wife: “He Had To Go To Bed Early”

Kanye West is making light of punching a man for allegedly sexually assaulting his wife Bianca Censori, despite a police investigation into the incident.

Ye opened up about the incident during an interview on The Download podcast, clarifying that it went down at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles and not Disneyland. According to West, he didn’t see the alleged assault although Censori described it to him. He didn’t deny punching the man, in fact Ye joked he put him to sleep.

“This guy just grabbed my wife,” he told host Justin LaBoy. West claims he confronted the man and unsuccessfully attempted to have security escort him off the premises.

“I talked to the guy and said, ‘You just, you need to leave right now,’ and he was like, ‘Oh, it’s okay. And, it’s like, ‘no, it’s not okay’,” West explained, insisting, “It wasn’t okay.”

He then joked, “He saw it wasn’t okay. He had to go to bed early… I tucked this n#### in.

Kanye West reportedly punched one of twin brothers, Mark and Jonnie Houston, well-known L.A. restaurateurs. However, according to sources, Ye hit the wrong brother.

While West’s chief of staff Milo Yiannopoulos claimed Censori “was battered and sexually assaulted,” eyewitnesses report the man merely bumped into her in the crowded club lobby.

Initial reports suggested the man grabbed Censori but Yiannopoulos claimed otherwise.

“The assailant didn’t merely collide into her,” he stated. “He put his hands under her dress, directly on her body, he grabbed her waist, he spun her around, and then he blew her kisses. She was battered and sexually assaulted.”

The alleged victim was not severely injured and did not require hospital treatment. Kanye West and Bianca Censori left the Chateau Marmont before cops arrived. Police are investigating.

Chris King Shooting: Police Issue Homicide Warrant for Suspect

The police are on the hunt for a suspect in the murder of rapper Chris King in Nashville this past weekend.

The cops revealed that a 19-year-old convicted felon named Adrian Cameron Jr. is linked to the tragic incident that took place in an alleyway outside a music studio.

Authorities indicate that Cameron, who removed his ankle monitor after the incident, was on bond for a previous murder case.

The Nashville Police Department has escalated its efforts to locate Cameron and has issued a criminal homicide warrant in connection to the deadly shooting.

Two other suspects are believed to be involved in the robbery that led to the fatal shooting, which also resulted in injuries to a 29-year-old man.

King, a California native, was in Nashville specifically to perform at the Nashville Cannafest when he was allegedly shot and killed by Cameron, who was out on bond for a 2021 murder.

The music and entertainment world has deeply felt the shockwaves of Chris King’s death.

Celebrities and close associates of the late rapper, including Keke Palmer, Machine Gun Kelly, Justin Bieber, and Trippie Redd, have publicly expressed their grief.

T-Pain Seeks Revenge On Driver Involved In Hit-And-Run Crash

“My n####, life’s about to get so much worse,” T-Pain said on Instagram. “Oh my God. First of all, n####, you left the whole g###### front of your truck. So, we know who we’re looking for now. You left your f###### baby toys, so now we know you got kids.”

And boy, that was the worst part … I don’t know if you was drunk. I don’t know if you ain’t paid your insurance. I don’t know what’s going on in your life.”

T-Pain was traveling with his wife, driver and manager. EMTs were seen tending to his driver in the Instagram video.

“Also we’re in Atlanta a mile away from making it home from the airport,” he wrote. “It was a 2003-2007 silver Chevy SUV that probably looks like they hit something super hard and missing the grill.”

T-Pain maintained his sense of humor despite the circumstances. He joked about the situation in another comment on the video.

50 Cent Wishes Physical Violence On Man Suing Megan Thee Stallion

Emilio Garcia, the man suing Megan Thee Stallion for harassment and a hostile work environment, received no sympathy from 50 Cent. The G-Unit boss bashed Megan’s former cameraman and attorney Ron Zambrano for filing a lawsuit against her on Tuesday (April 23).

“This Camera man and the lawyer who made this claim should be punched in the head,” 50 Cent wrote on Instagram. “I’m sorry 2 women start making out, I’m not offended. THIS CASE IS THROWN OUT OF MY COURT.”

Garcia worked for Megan from 2018 to 2023. His lawsuit claimed Megan forced him to watch her have sex with a woman when they traveled to Ibiza in 2022.

Megan allegedly told Garcia, “Don’t ever discuss what you saw.” Garcia claimed he suffered “anxiety, depression and physical distress stemming from the toxic work environment.” He sought more than six figures in damages.

50 Cent sided with Megan after apologizing for mocking her in the past. He was one of the many people trolling her over the Tory Lanez shooting. 50 Cent originally said he was sorry via social media in 2020. He apologized again in a 2023 interview with Big Boy.

“I’m gonna apologize to Megan Thee Stallion,” he said. “I said some things. And it was because on social media, I posted things that—when she was with Gayle [King], she said, ‘Were you intimate with Tory Lanez?’ And she said, ‘What?’ And it was like, ‘No.’ And I was like, ‘Ah, she lying.’ At that point, I knew she was lying. It wouldn’t be no reason for them to be around each other. From that, it felt like she was lying to me. So, little things would pop up, and I wasn’t being supportive of her.”

He added, “The only reason I feel like, at some point, you should apologize—I should apologize to her is because when I heard the phone conversation. That made me feel like, ‘Oh s###.’ Now I know what happened. I’m sure that was probably what swayed people in court too.”

Tory was sentenced to 10 years in prison for shooting Megan. He is appealing his conviction.

NBA YoungBoy Stuck In Jail Following Prescription Drug Fraud Arraignment

NBA YoungBoy remained in a Utah jail due to his alleged involvement in a prescription drug fraud scheme. According to multiple reports, his pretrial release hearing was scheduled for April 29.

The 24-year-old rapper was arrested on multiple charges, including identity fraud, on April 16. Cache County Sheriff’s Office accused him and his associates of illegally obtaining promethazine with codeine from pharmacies. NBA YoungBoy and his co-conspirators allegedly posed as doctors and created fake patients to trick pharmacists.

Investigators caught NBA YoungBoy, whose real name is Kentrell Gaulden, partly due to his accent and pronunciation. Cache County investigator Tyson Hyrum Nielsen explained how he determined the Baton Rouge native was pretending to be an elderly woman named Gwendolyn Cox to fraudulently procure prescription drugs in an affidavit.

Nielsen spoke to “Gwendolyn Cox” and NBA YoungBoy on separate phone calls. The calls helped expose the scam.

“During the conversation with ‘Gwendolyn’ it was very clear that a fake voice was being used,” Nielsen wrote. ‘Gwendolyn’ sounded as though she was a much younger male from the southern states … Kentrell Gaulden continued to attempt to further the prescription fraud by talking about the prescription and saying ‘she on the hospital bed,’ referring to the patient ‘Gwendolyn Cox’ from the previous day. Also of value to note, Kentrell Gaulden used the word ‘Axe’ instead of ask, this is similar to my conversation with ‘Gwendolyn’ the night before when ‘Gwendolyn’ used the same word. Based on my training and experience and having lived in the Southern United States, using the term ‘Axe’ in place of ask is a common southern dialect.”

NBA YoungBoy was busted for the alleged fraud while on house arrest in a gun case. A Louisiana judge ordered him to be taken into federal custody until a bond revocation hearing can be scheduled.
