Best wack rapper ever—intelligent artist manipulating corporate music—Tity Boi for life—undoubtedly the mere mention of, 2 Chainz, evokes a passionate response that will enliven any Hip-Hop debate!

Regardless of one’s perspective, Mr. 4 Bracelets’ reinforced faith, collective body of work, sheer charisma, and fortified business-acumen has helped cultivate his domineering musical presence.

On Wednesday night (Feb. 5th), the 2 Good to be T.R.U. show, at New York City’s Roseland Ballroom definitely reinvigorated the once-celebrated theater. Circumventing the conventional ‘rapper-performance,’ 2 Chainz commanded the stage for almost two hours!

Choosing to perform tracks like, “Feds Watching,” “U Da Realest,” and “Netflix” (a humorous introduction was even projected on the big screen) proved his cache of creativity easily enabled him to captivate the crowd. While performing “Used 2” the Mannie-Fresh supplied beat had the entire theater jooking.

Always one to share the stage, 2 Chainz, offered an array of artists the opportunity to bask in his spotlight. R&B crooners Trey Songz and August Alsina shared their harmonic voices. A$AP Rocky, A$AP Ferg, and French Montana represented the New York support that 2 Chainz has garnered. Although only briefly performing “I Really Mean It,” when Dip Set’s, Cam’ron, took the stage (yes, with a cape) the celebrated MC’s mere presence elevated the collective energy to heroic heights.

Pusha T, also performed “Mercy” with 2 Chainz. Earlier in the evening the lyrical savant’s set preceded the headliner’s. The compounded lyricism of King Pusha was definitely appreciated by those in attendance.

The 2 Good to be T.R.U. tour has several remaining dates. Invest into your memories; go see the show!
