LIKE A DOG RECORDS, can I say two things to you. Number one, you South cats need to stop saying New York hates you. No, NY does not hate you. Just because a couple of cats from there like to act up and be mouthy, does not mean you have to generalize or put a stigma on the entire city. Thinking that NY hates you, because that isn't the case. I will be the first to admit, NY has had their beefs. However, there's humdreds of rappers there. Not all of them are beefing and being negative. They just don't get any light for their positive efforts.

Secondly, garbage music is coming from every region in Hip hop right now. Not just NY not just the South, The mainstream period, is in bad shape right now. Just because NY doesn't have the mainstream spotlight right now, doesn't mean they haven't been putitng out good records, because they have. Again, the positive doesn't get any light. As far as Hip Hop is dead is concerned, that phrase has been said for years now. All Nas did was make it a vocal statement. He wasn't talking about region, he wasn't pointing fingers at anyone. He wasn't talking about the South. He simply said what everybody else was thinking.

Anyway, the point is nobody is hating on you. It's the artist you have reprsenting you right now, that cause a lot of the comments that are being said amongst fans. Because it's really not that rappers. The fans are the ones that got this regional thing going on. Why aren't the real Southern artist getting any shine, while their snap/ringtone rappers get the shine? Think about that for a second.

Lastly, mind you I'm a West Coast head saying this right now. But see, I know what's really going on, because I've been there. I'm just putting things in a different perspective. Besides, I thought this was about Saigon's single and wether the fans would like it or not. Not about where he's from. It seems y'all are rating region rather than the music itself.
