Jay-Z’s long time publicist Jana Fleishman declined to say whether Jay-Z has given any cash to the fund since 2010, but notes that he contributes in other ways.

“Jay, along with his family, provided office support, overhead support, [mother] Mrs. Gloria Carter’s 100% effort and time, computers, FedEx expenses, accounting, and treasury function support. This was at no cost to the charity,” Fleishman said in an e-mail to The Daily.

Still, tax records show the charity had to pay $1,209 for office expenses, $1,401 for telephone, and $4,696 in other expenses in 2010.

Fleishman also said that in 2011 — a year for which tax returns for the charity are not yet available — a Jay-Z performance helped raise $1.25 million for the charity at its Carnival at Pier 54 event.

I think a reality show based on Kanye West’s new fashion endeavors would be pretty interesting.  The man is a musical genius and hopefully that will translate into fashion for him.  And we all know Kanye knows a thing or two about women’s clothing!  I wonder what happened to his Pastel clothing line though?

Also, Kanye demands no man-made fibers be worn by the minions who are serving him. So make sure that driver who you hire to pick Kanye up from the airport, is not wearing polyester or Yeezy may not get into the car. Mr.West prefers his servants be dressed in “100 percent cotton” only.

I guess when you’re Kanye West, you can demand these types of things.  At least he’s not asking for an all white room like J.Lo, or the removal of all the brown M&M’s like Van Halen famously requested.  Do you think Yeezy’s demands are over the top?

In Wiz’s recent interview with Sway from MTV, he revealed that the album’s title was inspired by the Mobb Deep rapper’s first solo album, 2001′s H.N.I.C. (Head N*gga In Charge). Wiz stated that the album’s title comes from several incidents he was involved in with plane personnel while flying first class during his the enormously  successful 2011 that he had.

“I’m just going to tell you it’s the Only N*gga In First Class. It’s inspired by Prodigy’s H.N.I.C. When he dropped that, I felt like that sounded so strong and it really meant something and it had the n-word in it. I wanted to figure out something [along those lines] that was me, too…I said it on one of my songs, like, ’Ain’t it funny when time pass?/Only nigga in first class,’ and I was just talking about me being a young, rich dude and being black.”

While speaking on his “flying incidents” Wiz said, “It looks crazy when I walk up to them and I show them a ticket, or I’m going to priority seating and they’re like, ’You sure?’ It’s kind of like that feeling – it’s a good feeling, but it’s like it’s a bad feeling, like ’Damn, why y’all even feel like that about me?’ When I look around and I see people in first class and they’re getting they’re dinners a little quicker than mine or they’re looking at me or I don’t get the pillow or extra treatment – or I get more because they know that I’m supposed to be there, so it’s like the positives and the negatives.”

Rumor has it that with this new-found “revelation,” Prodigy is looking to get Wiz on his next album, the appropriately titled H.N.I.C. 3, which is set to drop later this year.

Cee-Lo has already set up a series of concerts in Sin City as sort of a test run. If all goes well, his fans will be able to see him performing, a la Cher, a few times a week at some snazzy hotel. Is this cheesy or a major come-up for the Goodie Mob member?

Speaking of Goodie Mob, TMZ is reporting that  Cee-Lo reunited with the Mob for a Super Bowl pre-party at an Indianapolis strip club and made it rain $10,000 on the strippers!

The civil lawsuit was filed back in 2009 by a tour bus company which claims that Bow Wow never paid his bill totalling almost $100,000. Bow Wow was supposed to produce documents in his home state regarding the lawsuit, but he never did.

As a result, the tour company filed a motion to have the rapper held in contempt, and a judge in Georgia wants him arrested on-site. Be careful out there, Bow Wow. The po-po are looking for you!

She is claiming that Drake acknowledged her contributions via text messages, which she has saved. Reportedly, they read “U basically made that song” and “It’s sh*t without you.” Big mistake, Drake!

Lee filed  a lawsuit against the rapper on  July 11, claiming, “My works and voice are used on this work.” About six weeks later, Drake’s label, Cash Money Records made its own claim, saying that the song authored was an “employer for hire.”  According to the complaint, Drake later sent a text message to Lee that offered her two percent of “publishing royalties.”

By November, Ericka claims that Drake agreed to meet up with her in Los Angeles to discuss, but when he didn’t keep his word, she hired a lawyer. When Drake found out, he allegedly spazzed out and started making threatening phone calls.

“What the f–k is your problem?” he said to her, according to the complaint, then offering her “4-5%” of publishing monies plus a $50,000 payout to go away.”

Lee is demanding that a judge declare her as co-writer of the song. She’s also seeking damages and disgorgement of profits on allegations of breach of fiduciary duties and unjust enrichment. Lee is represented by Neville Johnson, who previously filed a lawsuit against Drake on behalf of a Playboy Enterprises for sampling an unauthorized sound recording it owned on “Best I Ever Had.”

It looks like Ms. Lee has a good lawsuit on her hands. Drake should have just paid her upfront. Now it looks like it’s going to cost him a lot more money. Crazy how the same lawyer who successfully sued Drake before is back at it.  Hey, you know what they say, “Mo’ money Mo’ problems!”

When asked about any formal offers or an “extending of the hand”, Mannie said:

“I can’t really say if [there was]. It’s one of them things where – Let me just put it like this, Kanye is kinda mysterious about the things that he do. And I can’t really let no cats out the bag. I’m sorry to give you an answer like that, but I can’t really say what’s in the works. Y’all just gotta wait to see what happens.”

This can only be a good thing for both parties, so keep your fingers crossed!

Don and his ex-wife Viktoria Chapman Cornelius had a very tumultuous relationship, which ended in divorce in 2009.  Don reported that he was peppered sprayed by his wife on multiple occasions and she accused him of domestic violence, which he was eventually convicted of.

In official legal docs obtained by TMZ, Don said, “I am 72 years old. I have significant health issues. I want to finalize this divorce before I die.” Unfortunately, there was a provision in his divorce settlement that says that Don must make Viktoria the beneficiary of both of his life insurance policies – totaling around $300,000 in benefits.

Under California law, if a policyholder commits suicide within two years of the time the policy is issued, the company can deny payment. But Don had the policy for more than two years, so Viktoria, the woman he despised, will get the cash. So sad.

Will and their son Jaden, 13, are living in Philadelphia, where they will be filming After Earth, while Jada and Willow, 11, are living in L.A. before Willow starts touring in May. ”The kids are really suffering,” a source says. The family has been torn apart for a while now.

“They haven’t spent any time as a whole family in months,” explains the source. “And it’s not going to happen anytime soon — if ever again.”

The magazine goes on to say that Willow and Jaden are aware of what’s going on with their parents.

“The kids hear everything that Will and Jada say about each other,” an insider shares. “They’ve shed tears over it. It’s a hard time for them.”

“I’m sure [their parents] take it into consideration, the psychological impact on the kids and what they could do to make it minimal,” Jada’s former stepdad Warren Brown tells Star. “[But] it would surprise me if they stayed together.”

“It’s always a shame when divorce splits up families,” Estelle Pinkett, Jada’s great-aunt, agrees.

Wow, Jada’s great Auntie and Stepdad came out of the wood-works and sold Jada and Will out! If this is true, it seems as if Will and Jada are closer to getting a divorce than ever before.  I hope they keep their kids together, though, it would be a shame to separate the siblings.

Ross has been celebrating his birthday since late last week, first parting in NYC at Queens club Perfections, with a stop the following night in Atlanta before wrapping up in his hometown with Dr. Dre. TMZ is reporting that the arrest occurred on Sunday at 4:12 a.m. following his show in St. Petersburg. He was released a few hours later after posting $100 bond.

“The details are still sketchy, but I can confirm that he was arrested with a firearm yesterday in the Bronx. They caught him around 2p.m. in the afternoon with a loaded gun in his knapsack. It was definitely an illegal search.

According to [the officer], they didn’t know he was Cory Gunz. They just saw a bunch of kids following him around. At the end of the day, there’s a reason for everything, but at the same time, in New York, it’s mandatory jail time. To go to a precinct and see your son, your junior, in handcuffs, it’s heartbreaking. Anytime you see your child in jail, in the cell, in handcuffs, it’s very hard. He’s walked down some of the same paths that I walked down, but you never want to see your kids go through what you went through. This is Cory’s first offense, but sometimes they like to make an example out of rappers and people with any kind of celebrity to them.”

According to Whoo Kid, both Ludacris and Kanye West were in the studio with him to contribute to one of his mixtapes when Kanye went, well, all “Kanye” in the studio and spit for an hour straight in the booth. Luda didn’t know Kanye very well and was super annoyed with him for wasting his time, because basically Luda just wanted to come in, lay his verse down and bounce.

“So Kanye’s looking crazy, you know, trying to impress Luda, but it wasn’t that time. Luda wanted to come in, do that verse and get the f–k out. So, what made it worse is he went out there and played a beat but by the time he got out there, Luda picked a Red Spyda beat. So now I gotta tell Kanye ‘Your services are not needed.’”

Now, word is coming through the grapevine that the album’s first single is ready to go, is titled “Lamborghini, Murci,” and will feature Kanye West, Big Sean and Pusha T. Read below:

“A source close to Def Jam has informed me that the tentative first single from the upcoming G.O.O.D. Music compilation is to be “Lamborghini, Murci.” The track, which was produced by Phoenix-based producer Lifted, is set to feature Kanye West, Pusha T and Big Sean. No word on when this is to drop, but I’ve heard it’s a monster.” -FSD

The once-rumored stand-up tour with Dave Chappelle still might happen. During a chat with Vulture about his movie 2 Days In New York, Rock briefly talked to us about his upcoming projects, and while he didn’t have much to say about his role in the omnibus comedy What To Expect When You’re Expecting, he’s pretty excited to go out on tour.

“I’ve been talking to Chappelle a lot. Been trying to get Chappelle to go on tour,” he told us. Those reports had surfaced briefly in October, but we’d heard nothing since then; is Rock really going to make this a reality? “You know I’m not the hard one,” he said, laughing. “But I’m trying to make that happen. After seeing Kanye and Jay-Z, I was like, ‘Me and Dave should do this.’”

The track is called “I Still Love You,” and although he doesn’t use Kim’s name, he drops enough clues in the first verse for you to guess the “queen’s” identity. Check out some of the lyrics below:

“I met up with him one time and then I met up with him again,” French said. “There were things that I was used to ’cause I was already moving. I’m like a money train.”

But that money train came to a halt when he couldn’t get Kanye on the phone.

“Kanye doesn’t have a phone. If you need to get in contact with Kanye, you have to email him,” said the 27-year-old. “You can’t tell me how to do that. I don’t know how to use an e-mail, so I guess me and you is never gonna talk, and I’ma put my career in your hands?”

But he doesn’t hold any hard feelings towards Yeezy. “He’s definitely talented, and I felt like if I went there, we would have definitely made history.”

French also said he is happy about his decision to sign to Bad Boy.  Montana is currently prepping his Bad Boy debut, which will be co-executive produced by Diddy and Rick Ross. In addition to his single, “Shot Caller,” he can be heard on Rick Ross’ Rich Forever mixtape cut, “Stay Schemin’” featuring Drake.

The singer was understandably disappointed by the snub, especially since the category typically has four to five nominees, and this year only two songs were nominated. Sergio Mendes and Carlinhos Brown were recognized for “Real in Rio” from the animated film Rio and Bret McKenzie received a nod for “Man or Muppet” from The Muppets.

Blige was previously nominated at this year’s Golden Globes, but lost in the category to Madonna. Does Mary have a right to be upset, or should she just get over herself?

“All these bitches screaming that 2pac back ♫ #THUGLIFE,” she tweeted.

To top it off, Ri Ri tweeted out another photo in which she appeared to be getting another tat on her back from famed tattoo artist, Mark Mahoney, all the while holding a beer bottle. Classy!

This marks tattoos #15 and #16 for the Bajan princess, who already has her best friend’s birth date on her shoulder and another on her chest that reads “Never a failure, always a lesson.” I’m really started to feel like she’s addicted to tattoos!

While at the tattoo parlor, she also ran into Grindhouse actor, Danny Trejo. Now that’s “Thug Life”!!!
