If he wins this year, and they most likely will, then that would be 4 tittles putting him up their with Shaq and Duncan as the most dominant players of his generation in terms of tittles.  If he wins 1 or 2 more how can you not put him up their with other NBA legends.  Not just jordan bird and magic but Dr. J, Hakeem, David West, Kareem, Chamberlin, Russel.  To me those are first teir HOF and kobe belongs right up their with them when discussing the greatest players of all time.  A second tier HOF would be someone like Charles Barkely.

Kobe will not be second to Jordan when you have the likes of Kareem and Magic. Statistically yes he will be close however these other players have had a major impact on the culture of the game.

Kobe is the best player of this decade, shit, this century(Since it just started). Kobe should have had the MVP the past 2 years over Steve Nash and bum ass Dirk.
