If you don't know Herbie Hancock shoot yourself. Besides being one of Jazz's biggest names he worked side by side with Miles Davis. Plus you can tell he's one of those cool ass older heads you strive to be like when you get that age. Shout out to AHH for giving this man his props.

Herbie Hancock is the man. He is top 3 all time of piano players. As far as musical geniuses of the piano, he is comparable only to probably Thelonious Monk (the guy Pharrell got the name from).

If anyone ever gets into Jazz, check out Herbie Hancock's Maiden Voyage. That shit is classic, and it's a little easier to understand than his other classic albums.

Herbie Hancock is accomplished. He's an elder who hasn't turne dhis back on us. He's a bad motherfucker. you will learn alot. Many times what's missing in hiphop is an understanding of music and the science and logic behind it.

props on interviewing one of my favorite jazz pianist. he could play everything from bebop to swing to fusion. hell listen to the album head hunters. that album was hip hop before the term labeled the genre

Much Respect to the man Herbie Hancock. This shouldn't have been in the alternatives though. This should've been on the Main page for Hiphop so the young kids could know who truly reps our music with no bias.
