If you're a true Hot Boy fan you all know that they were not beefing at all. Juve, Lil' Doogie (B.G.) and Turk were all upset at Baby not Wayne. So any so called fans who tried to drive them against Wayne are haters. Lil' Wayne is my favorite Hot Boy and has been since I heard "Block Burner" from "Get It How You Live" back in 1997 but I love all of their flows equally. They were all unique and brought a different flava to each track.

T.Q. is right, money is the root of all evil. As much as I love Wayne's success, (which I predicted back in 1998) I much rather see him shine with the Hot Boy$ all together instead of individually.

And for anyone who claims Weezy stole Gilly style, T.Q. kills that claim when he describes how Wayne recorded a track in one take while leaving his car running outside. And this all occured before Gilly signed with CMR.

Haters just face it, other artist really respect this dudes ability. If he was so whack like some people think he is (which is obviously untrue), he wouldn't be dropping 16's on everbody's ish.

But I digress, I'm not mad at Baby for fucking CMR up because we all make mistakes but he does need to realize what he had and make ammends. Give Juve, Gizzal, Turk and Mannie what the want, need and deserve!

Cash Money is Army................Better yet a Navy!!!!!

re: Trials of TQ: The Cash Money Story

@ Water Ur seeds

chill out hommie only a joke.

re: Trials of TQ: The Cash Money Story

TQ is a cool cat man. But it broke my heart when THB broke up. mean, me and some of my friends were crying. If you're from this area you listened to them like you read your Bible. We felt like we knew them. Shit, I even remember the days when they used to play a lil club we had called "Strawberries" and they'd have concerts on the teen nights even, and were the only acts that did so, and we always went out and showed them much love. They even would go eat next door at Montana's with some of the fans!! I mean I was REALLY hurt when they broke up!

Til I heard why...

Everyone makes mistakes. Baby needs to recognize his and give those boys what he owes them. From what I heard from my NO ppl, there's not much bad blood amongst any of them-cept Baby! And I think if he would quit being proud and make amends, then I could REALLY see a THB reunion tour. Maybe even another album.

I remember when they were messin with TQ. I was all excited, because even as young as I was, I thought he was so fine, LOL! And I loved his music. Hate to see that he got there when all the dirt was being done.

re: Trials of TQ: The Cash Money Story

Yet another good read from the homey. Good to hear a good non biased story about what was really going on back in the day with CMR.

But he stated what was obvious to me all along, Baby was the cancer in Cash Money. If it wasnt Wayne CMR would be just like Ruff Ryders and Death Row right now. So I guess Baby was smart for makin that nigga stick by him all these year.

What up TQ, I used to see you all the time down her in the N.O. back in the day fool. Only way i know him is from ahh and you tube hatin' on Wayne! Go get a career and some money then talk and Wayne hater can support him. Look for the Wayne's Carter 3 album...in stores this summer! Wayne recording that verse in one take has nothing to do with him biting Gillie's style. You might be making a good point, but not the way you said it. Maybe if we were talking about him stealing Jay's flow, but then again he did...but it doesnt matter because everybody's knows that Wayne loved Jay at one point more than he loved Baby.

Anyway, personally, Wayne went from one of the most promising emcees to an oversaturated pop artist. And the key difference in him now vs. The Carter era??? "Go D.J.". That's right. Mannie. He had his own sound at one point, but now he cries over tracks using a voicebox and calls it a delivery. It's not hate. It's real. If you like it you like it. It's nothing wrong with that. But '08 Wayne is nowhere near '04 Wayne.

re: Trials of TQ: The Cash Money Story

@ Jon J

The industry is about image. If you sit up there and say everybody that deserves a deal has one, there is no point in having a conversation on music with you. But I don't really think Gillie has the much star power anyway. Their last cd guerilla warfare came out in late '99 right before the start of my senior year in high school(99-2000) & was the soundtrack for that fall semester. Them niggaz was tight, they couldhave been one of the greatest groups of all time if it wasn't 4 baby. TQ did tha damn thang with this article. Very informative, I always liked tq. I remmeber his 1st song "Westside", and he had a song "come see me" from the Trippin' soundtrack that was tight. TQ is very talented and I thank all Hip Hop for allowing him to write. I can't wait for part 2. I always knew it was Baby causing all the drama within his own camp it's just sad that juve, and the rest of the HOT BOYZ lost friendships and money over it. Money will do that though right?

re: Trials of TQ: The Cash Money Story

Hood2Burbs said:
@ Jdub1911

It's like my man said.

--------------------------------------------------------------
My point was errr'body need to get off Wayne stealing Gillie style PERIOD POINT BLANK. Come on be real. Did he look up to Jay............yes. Did he emulate some of style from Jay..........yes. But just like Jay said in XXL interview a couple months back that you really can't single Wayne out because if thats the case a lot of rappers in the game has borrowed his style. But people only knock Wayne for that because he has so many more haters than other rappers in my opinion. Nobody criticizes T.I. and he certainly has some jay in his style as well as Kanye and a list of other rappers. And I listen to both of those rappers.

Why when a rapper is demand he is consider oversaturated? So if you were offered 75k-100k a 16 would you not make that money especially if you enjoyed the competition of making music. I admit his sound has change excuse me evolved to where he is now. Did you criticize Jay from rapping like Bone Thugs to how he flows now. Probably not. But because Wayne is so cocky and claims to be the best, people to offense like he's cursing out their mothers. Here again, if he's peers thought he was wack, believe me, they wouldn't have him feature on their records.

@ Uptown Prince

Here again, his flow has evolved and gotten better lyrically. R u listening to what he's saying or how he sounds. Come on bruh, it would be one thing if there was a claim that someone was ghostwriting for him but people tripping because they say he stole Gilly, OF ALL PEOPLE, flow. Whatever. If you're a true fan and I'm talking bout pre "Guerilla Warfare" you'll know that Wayne was the one in the Hot Boys that was always animated and brought it lyrically escpecially for his age, 14-15. Rapping is just like a hooping. If you're a student of the game you take bits and pieces of peoples game that you admire and incorporate in to your game. All this Wayne shit started becaue back in '03 he at the end of "Bring it Back" he said...."the best rapper alive, since the best rapper (JAY-Z) retired." This is when all the hate begin. Check the article on B.G. in last months XXL, where the reporter ask about Wayne and he said Wayne has always had talent and He's not supprised at all with his current success. Listen to his song "Ode to Hot Boys" and see what I'm saying.

BLOG » Blog Archive » a pumped pussy.
