I'm really anticipating her album. I've liked just about every track I've heard from her.

Oh yeah, I saw the You Tube clip of her singing live at the Seventeen Magazine office recently and I was blown away. She has what you call raw talent.

She does have a nice voice. This is the first that I got a chance to hear her. I do like. One thing though is that she does sound like or imitate a Lauren(in this song definately), so if she don't want to be labeled than she need to switch it up

"Need You Bad" definately is reminiscent of peak Lauren Hill but Jasmine Sullivan is no more "the new Lauren Hill" than Estelle. Both Jasmine and Estelle are good in their own right and I look fwd. to hearing more music from them.

As for "Ms. Hill"...she's still alive and kicking so i'm gonna hold out hope that she'll regain some sense of her former self.

I co sign with ReppnKing, she is a way better singer than lauryn. Too many people have to compare new artists with other artists as soon as they come out. Its bullsh*t and people wonder why R&B is dead. The record labels do the same thing. Have you noticed over the past 5 years there has been only been about 2 or 3 artists in mainstream music that have been original? Amy and Jazmine are two of them and I guess John Legend is another one.

If anyone is looking for good songs by Jazmine you should def check out on youtube "I'm in Love With Another Man". The song is crazy and her voice is in full flight on that one. Also on youtube you should check out her singing Round Midnight. She is without a doubt the best new artist. I'm worried though because her and Jennifer Hudson's album come out within weeks of each other. I hope she gets the promotion she deserves. And hell yea she can sing better than A. Keys.

I rather just hear Lauren Hill. even though Lauren won't come out with nothing new cause she buggin. Still I hate when a person completely imulates someone elses whole style and aura to come up. Like when D'angelo was poppin, all of a sudden you gett some circle face clown called musiq soulchild gettin his lil swagg jackin on with his similarities in just the way he sings his songs but when you play them back to back, you can see that he sounds nothing like D'angelo but you can still tell he studied D'angelos whole catalog.

I love Ciara even though people say she the next Aalyiah. cause she came out with her own southern swagg that was universal and you can't deny her sexy voice. Neither one of them wrote all their own music I wouldn't call Ciara the next Aalyiah cause she sounds like her, but only cause she represents the sexy slim females wit the tom boyish look.

i fell in love with Jazmine's voice and her whole swag. she def. got what it takes to be the next new artist to blow. i'll be the second nigga in line after Willie Killem coppin her album. when i heard Need You Bad on the radio i was feelin it immediately. im an r&b brotha and i dont discriminate male or female when it comes to r&b (unless its some straight male bashin female lyrics). IMO she killin everybody in the game vocally, plus she's youthful so she shouldnt have a problem sellin. she's what the r&b game needs right now. if u aint heard "In Love With Another Man" check that joint out.
