How is it that we as African Americans want to stop racism but yet we are racist ourselves? Why can't Robin Thicke get on the cover of Vibe? I heard about this story a week ago and it hasn't created much buzz. However, if Obama was not allowed to get on the cover of Rolling Stone we would have screamed racism!

If the country music channel changed their name to the "White" music channel we would scream racism. However, it's OK for us to have "BET" which is "Black" entertainment television. If we want to help stop racism we need to change our ways.

How can we call other people racist when we are doing the exact same thing they're doing? We need to change, and we can start by changing the names of these companies with the word "Black" in it.
