this is the best interview ive read in awhile its sad to hear about 9th spliting with LB im a little deppressed right now about that but me and my mans have been talking about R. Kellys music hes going downhill i dont understand why hes doing songs about being in the club with BOW WOW whos half his damn age. HE needs to act his damn age 1/2 his damn album is rap and the other 1/2 he's doing partial singing besides same girl which i heard he stole from a duo in ATL the CD's a weak attempt to reach younger fans which he has no business doing @ 40 anywayz. And Amy Winehouse is the truth i personally have both her albums and she rocks and this is comming from one of lauryn hills biggest fans.

Dude aint lieing about being real and a family man. I had a chance to talk to him a couple of years ago around the christmas holidays. Dude was on the phone with me and his nephews were acting up stupid. 9th was like "get in the car, you better get in the car i aint playing with yall" He was serious too. Next second he was like aight dude im back...ha ha ha. 9th is one of our favorite producers and dude is definitely the boom bap king to me. He has mastered soul sampling and will continue to give us that feel good. Great interview.

9th definitely tells it like it is and that's refreshing to me. I find it sad that the music industry would rather sell a hit than to make a good record. Corporate puppets just like 50 cent, (I can't stand his music) are just feeding into deterioration of hip hop. If it's good music then it's good but then again me being a child of the late 70's and 80's I'm very picky now a days about what I listen to. Robin Thicke and Amy Winehouse are ill!
