It good to see that hip hop has grown so much, it now to the point where you got Ganagsta Rap artist like (Bun B Big Ups) any many others are coming out and setting a stong tone of leadership. This shows how we individuals who came up in the street or should i say common folk are stepping up to the plate and showing the younger generation that is important for them not to be ignorant of things which can effect our lives.  

I think more gangsta rappers with heavy influence in our culture should voice there opinions like Bun just did, and i guaruntee certain chage int the hood will take place.

yea Dlotto but heres the thing...i HATE when ppl say that the rappers need 2 speak on political issues and then when they do it comes out so fuckin fake! They act like zombies readin a fuckin cue card when it comes to politics. Like, if GUCCI MANE or YOUNG JEEZY was 2 be on mtv sayin "Go out and vote" it would be stupid. Unless a rapper can put together his views on the political issue rather than jus sayin "DO THIS AND DO THAT" then having them say it is useless. It def. didnt work for diddy...lol "VOTE OR DIE". U gota think about it this way...what makes a rapper have influence over us in the 1st place. its not cuz they tellin us 2 go sell coke up the block or go shoot sum1 they rappin about how the feel on the issue and wut they would do in that situation. Treat politics the same way..tell us how u feel on that issue and wut u would do in ur situation.

I respect Bun B and he is setting a good example for others to follow.  On some real talk, don't vote a certain way just because another person does, vote because you believe in a person's platform on issues.  With that said, I am a Barack Obama supporter and I respect everybody else's decisions.

People does it matter who you try to push onto someone other then your self. NO!!! If you want to Vote Obama then feel free to do so. I for one have not decided who should be the flunky as of yet... I say flunky because that's just what they are going to look like after trying to clean up after Bush. Right now who ever falls into the office really will not matter for us for some time. They have to do many other things that Bush fucked up so when these people are running off at the lips I'm thinking about something other because I for one already see the hill in front of them. Whether the president is black or white doesn't mean anything to me. At the end of the day I have to vote for who best fits my life style and not meaning by color but by goals. And as of now I don't no if I would Vote for hill or Obama, They both have good views but there is something missing on both sides of the fields. As for me voting an a different way it will never happen but if I can't find that one thing I'm looking for from these two people I will just pass.
