With recent news that rapper Gravy will be playing the lead role in a film regarding the Notorious life of Christopher Wallace, it’s ever so apparent that there’s a gaping hole in New York Hip-Hop without the presence of B.I.G.

It’s hard to believe that it’s been over a decade since his passing, and though others have labeled themselves his heir with differing levels of legitimacy, we all know there was only one true KONY. Francis M.H. White.

You’ve heard from just about everyone associated with him.

So we won’t bore you with that.

We’ll let his career do the talking.

We’ll always low Big Poppa. Notorious B.I.G.

Freestyle Before BadBoy, in BedStuy

Even in his early days as a hungry emcee on th estreets of Bed Stuy, you could see the fire within.  Watch as he chews up some forgotten cat in front of the Bodega

.

Notorious B.I.G. Live in Philadelphia Biggie Smalls in Full Effect

Live from the City of Brotherly Love, where they even boo Santa Claus, Biggie tore it down!

The Notorious B.I.G. – Juicy “It was all a dream…”

The song that really blew him up. Can it be that it was all so simple then?

SOURCE AWARDS 1995/BAD BOY

Before Suge's infamous comments, it seemed like it would be a BadBoy nght. Classic Moment!

Craig Mack, Notorious B.I.G. - Flava In Ya Ear (Remix)

Greatest Remix of All Time. 'Nuff Said

Notorious BIG - One More Chance (remix) .

Everybody who was anybody on the East Coast seemed to be in this video.  Another Classic Remix by Biggie Smalls

To close it out, even though he’s remembered for the Versace and the fly s**t, let's not forget that the Notorious was one of the most raw emcees and that his legacy should be one of versatility, grit, and humor.

One of clear diction and flawless delivery. We won’t suppose what could have been, but we can honor what was.

Throw down some ice for the nicest emcee. R.I.P. Biggie Smalls. Truly the Illest.

First of all...Notorious Thugs was a Biggie song featuring Bone Thugs dickhead. Second niggas is here paying homage to one of the best to ever do it...and you come in here with that bullshit comment. Fuck what you think about whether Big styled better than Bone Thugs on Bones style ...The fact that you came in here disputing the shit leads me to believe that you yourself know he spit better than them niggas in they style (No disrespect to Bone Thugs)...You probably from Ohio and mad cause a NY nigga styled on that shit.  Instead of respecting the fact that Big was out of his element and still ripped it...You want to be a sucka and say oh but it wasn't better than so and so's verse....Get the fuck outta here....Bone Thugs couldn't get on a Big song and rip it the way Big can. And fuck you mean trust you, you the last one I want to say is hating...Nigga you are hating!
