The reason to vote for Obama has nothing to do with him being black. He has displayed in no uncertain terms he is the best person to lead this country through the hard times that lay head. The Wolf makes an excellent point here. Do we want the lady who has basically conceded in the general election by calling her opponent McCain a qualified "commander in cheif" to represent us as Democrats? I think not. McCain is no more qualified to lead than she is and by her uttering such garbage she has made it clear to me and I am sure a lot of other democrats supports that she is not qualified.

We want solutions to the problems we face here in America. More rhetoric, bureaucracy and a Republican government (that will keep us in Iraq in a senseless war over a non-renewable resource we clearly need to ween ourselves off) are not solution!

Look at Obama's voting record and the bills he has (or rather hasn't) proposed during his time as a state senator in Illinois. He has one of the lowest attendance records in all of congress.

He consistently avoids talking about specific economic and military issues by using his social backdrop to cover up his actual plan.

The country doesn't need a complete change, and if you think electing anyone to office will bring a complete change you're out of your mind. Change doesn't come from the government, change comes from the people. You wanna change the world, you gotta change it yourself, stop relying on whatever candidate the democratic party tells you to vote for and think for yourself.

That war for oil nonsense you're spouting died off years ago, fam.

Straight up, here's what we need to do. We need to pin candidates down and make them guarantee that our lives will be better, straight up and down, otherwise what's the point in voting for some pretty speech that really means nothing in the end? It's just a political lie. Don't be fooled.

Let me tell you something about the supposed 'war for oil'. Before you go around talking numbers, you should know what it costs to run the oil business and about numbers and volume. Iraq produces 2 bbl a year, 1 bbl of that is used to power their own country. .5 of it is exported. That's .5 bbl of available resources. Within 30 years we could drill Iraq for an additional 2 bbl per year. However, in addition to almost 2 trillion we've already spent in Iraq, the drilling would cost another 2 trillion (in addition to the time spent, and the other expenses of that country) and only yield a 100 billion per year gain (most of which would immediately be used to power the expanding country, and not exported or used to help us here).

If we really wanted oil, we could just go straight for ANWR which would produce an estimated 10.4 bbl (2.5 times as much as iraq) yearly and earn us incredible profits without waging any sort of war, except against liberal extremists who oppose the drilling there. We could cultivate it to produce at least 7 bbl yearly within 10 years and the estimated cost would be far lower, not to mention that it would provide us with almost double the oil that our country currently produces.

Know the facts before you say stuff like 'war for oil'.

If you wanna know why we're really in Iraq...that's not the question. The question is... why aren't we everywhere else? We need to invade every country. Look at any country in Africa. Look at South America, or parts of the Middle East. The average African child has a 60% chance of death by age 6, not of a bullet or bomb, but by STARVING TO DEATH. Invading Africa would only LOWER their death toll. That's real talk that people like you are unable to accept, because you spread all this ya-ya about Africa being the homeland and won't support an invasion that would save the lives of your own people. The warlords take the food, medicine and supplies, and wage war using the poor, weak, and destitute. They prey on children, giving them bombs and rifles. The same thing happens in South America.

I don't care about this voting shit, it's too far gone. The time is coming for a massive change in America where the people will band together and give true meaning to democracy and together we will conquer every nation.

As much shit as the US takes... this is the best fuckin' nation on earth. One day it will be United States of the World. People who talk about 'poverty' here... The poorest person in the US has 2000 times more money than the richest person in Tanzania. That's real talk fam. Imagine if everyone had opportunity, not like the third world where they starve and die with no chance at all. It's worth it to me regardless of what the rest of the world thinks.

What is the Media's Bias?
Here I sit already sick over the Media's play and replay of Barack Obama's bowling 37 points. But doesn't the Media owe us at least 4 days of non-stop reporting on Hillary Clinton's Church Affiliation? If the report that MSNBC broke this story a long time ago is correct, the Media is revealing its true bias with the lack of exhaustive reporting on Hillary's Church affiliation considering the almost murderous way they went after Barack Obama for his association with Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

If her relationship with The Family is what has been reported, the Media's action smells of blatant racism by its lack of coverage. Besides, all we Clinton supporters would want this topic widely aired before John McCain and the Republicans deal with it in the General Election. Or can we deduce that the Media's bias is for John Bush McCain and the retention of the Bush Dynasty and its sycophants.
