Shout to the homie TI. It sucks that his ALBUM was leaked a week before it's release, although thats pretty good. Cuz it's usually out way before then.

I listen to the ALBUM once so far it is mas o menos. Not that great. SERIOUS was a classic PEOPLE! But hey he is a smart business man. AND THE TI vs TIP concept was great, and promoted very well but not demonstrated clearly on the album.

(Oh yeah just to let u no CASSIDY did the split personality thing first if you didnt remember.)

But nice article, I have some TI exclusives I will release to the world pretty soon so keep tabs on me. I already posted that joint with SLEEPY BROWN that didn't make the album!

That was a good interview. But when HE spoke on the album and he said that u have to listen to the album 3 or 4 times to feel it that's kinda true but in another interview he says that the album is a classic and that u can compare it to Reay to Die,Aquemini and other classic albums. Well if the album is a classic why do we have to listen to it 3 or 4 times just to feel it. Classic albums u listen to it once and u know its a classic. TI vs TIP is an average album and its not one of his better albums. I think he was hyping people up so his first week record sale will look good

I'm a T.I. fan no question!....But this album AIN'T a classic but it's good....Zone 6 said it perfectly, a CLASSIC album isn't an album you should have to listen to several times....which is what T.I. said about his OWN album....Personally, when I say it didn't meet expectations that in NO way means the album was bad....it's like saying I expected him to go out on the court and score 50 points, but he only scored 40....he didn't meet my expectations but he still had a good game....regardless, T.I. still the BEST in the game right now period....Why do you clown ass niggas on here misuse the term HATIN??!! I like TI and I'm gonna buy his album cause i got all the other ones but i think he's taking the whole jekyll and hyde thin too far. a disjointed personality leads to a disjointed album and truth to tell with that the shit he's been through this year, he already has the ammo. He's gotta be careful because right now Jeezy is filling his "I'm serious" spot, and Lil wayne is starting to occupy his "king" spot so he needs to really dig in and bewho he is not not try to be two different things

T.I. is my cat! I have not heard his new CD all the way thru yet but so far I like it. As far as whether Jay is talkin to Lil Wayne / not, I believe that he is! I was lucky enough to be living in The A when TI really got hot. There was a time when"blowin Dro on 24's" was that street athem. Being a New Yorker, I didn't get it at first but thena few of my yung folk made me really listen to dude and yo..... I could not deny that the kid was mad nice and seriously reppin his city. I think if not for the brother TI then alot of the trap music of that era wouldn't been made. I've supported the cat on the last two albums(store bought, not bootlegs) and I intend to support this one too. I was really glad him and Luda beef didn't escalate cause that would have been bad. I live in Phoenix now and I never thought I would miss that Dirty South music but I do and I can't wait to hear Outkast drop the next joint. Andre 3000 is showing up on joints now and the big homie is kickin that really real! Young and Lil rappers fall back !!

I'm a T.I/T.I.P. fan to the heart and i preordered the new LP but i havent heard it yet cuz i'm currently deployed and mail travels slow. I know he did his thing and i will have to hear for myself cuz so many people are biased on Southern Music. I also got that P. Troy too which i know is going to be HOT!!! Just to correct "TreyPeezyDotCom". T.I. did it before Cassidy. He didn't do an entire album on it but on August 19, 2004 he dropped Trap Muzik. I'm sure you heard of it. Track number 12 was titled T.I. vs. T.I.P. and it was a battle between the two. Cassidy dropped Split Personality on March 16, 2004 so if you look at the dates... you are definately... WRONG. Just know your facts before you state em cuz people like me WILL call you out on em. And you try to make your OPINION credible by saying SERIOUS was a classic... which is in fact a classic. Be honest... you probably didn't hear that album until a couple of years until AFTER it was released.

i bought the album because i'm a fan of his music....even though i thought the album was subpar at best. At least with an album like....Rich Boy's for example, you knew what you were getting. Tight beats that covered up average lyrics with an overall huge replay value. This album though...it's something you buy just to say you have it. Like a statue or a glass vase - you aren't going to use it for nothing else expect decoration.

Not many rappers, especially big name rappers, do that these dayz. And as far as tha album... it's cool... i agree wit u havin' to really sit down and listen to it a couple of times. It's not a classic, but he gave tha game something to talk about... which iz more than u can say for most hip-hop artist right now.

Oh, and I did cop Wayne's first two albums, his last two, and Hot Boyz Guerilla Warfare so no need to say I don't support Weezy F. Baby, but like you said, the numbers don't lie.

Im tired of all the these North and East Coast fans not giving Southern rappers credit when they deserve it. Im not much of a Redman fan but I respect his work... I know for a fact that T.I. did his thing before Cassidy. T.I. had a song called T.I. vs. T.I.P. on Trap Muzik, released around the spring of 03, track number 12 where he did all of the rappin back and forth arguing with himself, so that's old. Cassidy's didn't drop until Feb. 2004.

And as far as Tip's album is concerned... listen to it, there is more lyrical content than any of his other albums had... since yall think that down south rappers are not lyrical. All and all T.I. vs. T.I.P. is a classic, so stop hatin

bnreal80 is right... a lot of people don't understand the southern slang so they don't get the metaphors they throw out there... it's so many people out there that didn't know what wayne meant when he said " I like my sprite Easter pink" cause they don't live that life.

First let me say that i like Jay, T.I., and Wayne. I'm not even going to state which one I think is better because its my opinion and like a**holes we all have one.
However, I just have to bring up a point. Why in the world would dude call himself Weezy "F." Baby...man everytime i say, type, or read that damn name the only thing that comes to mind is "what an idiot"

interview was ok but if his ass went to jail because of his temper then its different then everyone else. His albums are always good but not classics. if they were then they would get played on the radio during lunch when they play classic songs from classic albums. just listen to who they always play (2pac,biggie,outkast,snoop,dre,ghetto boys,nelly,50cent,lil wayne, juvinile,fugees). If he truly had a classic album then at least one song from it would get played. but he is still tight and i do think "you know what it is" might be that song if this album does end up being a classic. hopefully so

Look, T.I. is a phenomenal person. He fools a lot of people but once you're around dude, you realize the fact that education doesn't make intelligence, life does. T.I. has been growing up in Westside Atlanta and he grasped onto a lot of things that happened there. He gained intelligence when he overcame certain obstacles. He's a brilliant person and I think he knows exactly what he's doing. I got his album the morning it came out and I didn't have to listen to it 3 or 4 times to understand the concept of it. He always had faith in himself to become known in the world but he knew he had to change who he really was and he had no problem with that because he still holds on to that old person which is T.I.P. I admire him for that because now you know he never forgot where he came from but he always knew it wasnt best to show it all the time.
