wow... this is crazy that i'm reading this interview... just this morning my mother joked that she was gonna start bootlegging music on the side for extra cash... i told her she was gonna get DJ DRAMA'd... anyway...

This guy is really cool like for real, in real life... i had the Pleasure of shooting him and his crew The Affiliates a while back for a magazine story feature...

Prime example would be Puffy. Look how many things Puff has been through. I've used this example before but let's just say he would have quit after the riot at that basketball game? Then he would never have started Bad Boy Records, let's say he would have quit after Biggie got killed, let's say he quit after the trail for the gun charges? You can't let any type of controversy stop you from doing what you love.

Damn Diddy has been through A LOT in his career... never thought about it really... props to Diddy for still being able to maintain amongst all the bullshit... no matter if he brought it on or not, a real test of a man's strength is how he's able to deal with obsitcles and keep it moving...

lol @ ENOT... its highly doubtful that she'd actually do it... my mom is always thinking of some "Hair-Brained Scheme" to get rich from... but she never follows through... but let's just say she did do it... Jigga would not be on her list to bootleg because everytime he comes out she actually buys the CD for me, without me even having to ask... i dont know about moms sometimes... i went to her house one day and she was watching a BEFF dvd!... i just dont see how she loves Hip Hop, Jazz, and Gospel all the same go figure

I agree...Puff has been through a lot. Shoot, Jay been through a lot (what if Jay had stopped rappin' when everyone was saying he "bites" off BIG, and his own style isn't his...etc, etc...). What if Nas had just deaded the whole "beef" thing with Jay? Just let Jay merk his career...then where would we be? What if Pac had REALLY done like he said he was gonna do and left music alone when he got incarcerated. Well, he would probably still be alive, but you never know. But we wouldn't have had "All Eyez On Me", or even Makaveli for that matter. Homey made some classic joints before AND after he was incarcerated.

I'm with you Ma....we can't ever let adversity get the best of us. Stay on your grind no matter what!

I think Drama needs to be coached on public speaking especially when it comes to ongoing investigations and trials. Like when he was asked about how people say TI isn't a role model for his arrest for guns, Drama should've shot back with, "he hasn't been convicted, these are allegations, we will have to wait and see this judicial process through". But he said, "Cant judge him by one event"

Besides that, I like Drama. He's from my hometown and I wish him and TI the best. But if you need a PR person, holla at yo boy.
