I feel u, far as what u sayin, but I disagree. I understand u can't worship God and $$, u hafta choose. But wouldn't her situation be in vain if she never got God out of it, wasn't that the point? Since we're so Christian, shouldn't we be happy she found God in the midst of this instead of downtalking her for having to go thru this to find God? We all make mistakes, so why do other ppl feel they have the right to smack gavels and judge others? That's what turns ppl away from the Lord, when they see all these hypocrites that don't show unconditional love, just judge. I don't think she was praising material items at all, she just said she missed certain brands of stuff..if we can't enjoy material items (ENJOY, not worship), then why does God give us abundant financial blessings? Why doesn't he just stop at what we need and not give us anything extra? You don't have a preference on clothes? Why does he give us the talent and gift to obtain financial wealth, then?
