Working with Just Blaze, Mark Ronson, etc. is a good look for the hometown kid. I'ma check out the mixtape, because I haven't been disappointed yet by those, but I'm waiting on this album and the national recognition.

first and foremost i do like dis dude, he is tight.. But being from DC i hate when people from outside da city, be claiming it, but i guess they have too. Secondly i hate this DMV sh?@ it blows me, I guess i jus love my city to much... What he needs to do is put "Go-Go" music on cause i"m tired of New York, LA, Down south rappers and beat makers using go go breaks and sometimes jus taking our swag like Jayz did witt "scenario" enough of they hate i guess, he still gave a good interview...

Yeah I see Wale moving his way up the ranks. I see him making moves he nice w/ the flow. He left those that helped him get his initial shine, out in the cold (Kenny Burns ex VP for Rocafella) he from D.C. and put him on along with a D.C. Radio D.J. Alize (93.9 WKYS) so IMO he rolling out on cats that's helping him.

I know u reading these blogs. Don't worry about the haters out here. Like Pac said, "There's a hater born everyday." Just do you and don't worry about putting people on just yet. Don't stress over these bammas asking for hand outs. I can see if you was deep in the game but you're in a good situation right now. You have to make sure this first album is your main concern. Perfect it, compare contrast with some of your favorite albums and have fun with it. Remember all this can be taken from you so just make sure you enjoy it and cherish this because a lot of people wish they were in your shoes. Every rhyme and beat selection you should make sure its classic. Keep spitting like you did on ADD 1 & 2, Rhyme of the century and well pretty much all your best written/rapped songs. But on the real I feel you should make a song which got you the buzz in the city. Which was a go go song.

And all this talk about DC niggas feeling like they don't want to be associated with DMV is crazy. If y'all don't know they buying black people out of DC and more DC born people are moving to MD or VA. I was born in DC raised in Hillcrest Heights MD (which is right beside the DC line) now I live in the city. I feel this area is a big fam and we need to stick together. DMV rep it and accept it!!

HAH. Go-go HAD its chance--more than ONCE--to go national with their sound. What did those bands do with their major deals? Ruin each and every one of them. The go-go bands of today are simpletons, just wasting time shouting out people for 4 hours and covering weak commercial rap! Don't deny it, today's bands are SHIT. If these HUNDREDS of young musicians decided to really write SONGS, and get the fuck outta that tired-ass pocket they ALL play, then maybe, just maybe, Go-Go will get another shot.
