One more thing, after reading these comments, it struck me.

People assume the following:

"All whites are from the suburbs."
&
"All blacks are from the hood."

You will be better off if you realize that this isn't true.

I know Asher is from the suburbs, but again, that can mean a lot of different things too. Just because a rapper comes from a different place (geographically and artistically) doesn't mean they are to be discounted. Hip hop is beats, wordplay, style, and creativity.) It isn't "crack, the club, being foolish with money, and a general display to the world about how black people don't know how to act."

That may be what it has become lately, but that doesn't mean that that is all it is, or can be.

I have listened to this mixtape in it's entirety more than once. It's dope, and his style is refreshing. Expand your hip hop horizons a little bit, and check it out. It's a free download, just google the name. Plus the cover art is dope.

Okay so I just did a lil homework and peeped a few of his joints. He got word play. He get credit for being a rapper who trys to formulate clever lyrics. I think with the attitude he possess and just his out look on things in general, he has the right idea for putting Hip-Hop back in the direction that it needs to be in if he continues to be about what he speaks about.

I would think he would continue to expect hate, or animosity or even indecisiveness of supporters because of what he sounds..or who he sounds like versus the content of his music.

I personally am going to enjoy seeing how far he goes in this game and how many people are going to hop on the band wagon once this whole thing jumps off. Platinum his first time around.. definitely overseas...in the states, eh, he'll fall a bit short just because he's outside of the norm..

Otherwise..something to contend with.
