Banner is a genuinely good dude in my opinion. Back in 2003 he came to Florida State University to perform at the Black Student Union's homecoming concert. One of my frat bros had seen him earlier at TJ's DJ's store and Banner was like I'll come holla at you if I see you at the concert. He was true to his word. Saw my bruh in the crowd and said I told you I'd come holla at you. Gave him a hug and all. His performance was off the chain too. Good dude with insight.

Banner talked a lot about how people are following mainstream and the media in politics. I say that people are most often "exposed" to information. We are busy with our days and accept the headlines, blips and the tv newstation's quick scroll as all the information needed to form judgment on mainstream news and politics. The people that are in our ears as we're online, walking down the street, working, or driving are the rappers, singers and entertainers. They are the most exposure and the more of them breaking down their thoughts on politics, worldly issues or daily concerns really do teach the masses. Stay positive! But people really do need to seek out info more so than expect it to lay rest in their hands with perfect understanding.

Maybe Jay, but Nas never gave a fuck.....and its been that way waaaaay before Hip Hop is Dead. You do realize he's had more than 2 albums out right? lol.
