In my opinion , Skillz, Rhymefest, Andre 3000, Cee-Lo, Black Thought, Talib Kweli, Mos Def and Plug 1 (Workmatic), are the best known and unknown MC's in the game. These cats have lyrics, but don't get the shine they deserve. Peace to Skillz! I hope his CD does sell because Hip Hop needs more balance right now, but unfortunately, niggas only wanna hear that hardcore thug shit right now, and Good Music like this will fall upon def ears.

dude is right about the kids growing up on snap music. I asked this 12 year old boy the other day if he listened to Jay-Z he said no. I said what about Nas and he said Hell no. I didn't even want to ask him if he heard of Biggie or Pac because I might have Tony Yayoed him right there. I said what about soulja boy and he pulled the CD out of his coat pocket. He also had a Plies CD. I mean there is some good music out now but alot of what the kids are listening to is garbage.
