Nas did a protest of fox news..haven't heard from him since. but u know what I did see?

"Hero" being used in a commercial for a FOX tv show Fringe.
Anyway I didn't mean to attack Nas but...he just bothers me with his bullshit "causes".

Illmatic was hot and he shoulda stayed in that lane instead of trying to become a leader when he doesn't have half the heart to do it. This really has nothing to do with music as I don't even listen to Nelly but being an STL native I'm proud of his business and community accomplishments.

I've never been a big Nelly fan. His music is too fluffy for my taste.
But if you ever here this nigga freestyle, he sound like a completely different person. Dude can acually spit. And I acually like this interview. dude got sense. He get my respect for that. I feel his anger @ Spellman. Who wouldn't be pissed. I see if he came down to do a show or something but he wasn't. He was on a life or death mission for his sister and they blocked his shit over a fucking video. Like Tip Drill is the only video with strippers shaking their asses. His sister could have been alive today if it wasen't for them Spellman chicks. And quite a few of them work at strip clubs. Not saying he definitely woulda found a donor but why rob someone of a chance to possibly save a life?

I don't think Nas had control over licensing of his music. The Label owns the masters so they control that shit. I high doubt Nas would volunteer to let Fox use his music.

I'm sorry but im skeptical nas has done a lot of self-contradictory things and is a known snake. I just don't think he's a man of principle like he makes himself out to be.
Certainly he has to have some leeway to impede def jam from selling his music like that.

How can you lead a cause against fox with shit like that happening? Granted I'm probably the only person who recognized this but it does little to help nas' authenticity in my eyes.
