I stay in the East Detroit area and catch bullshit all the time for being a white guy doing rap music. I usually catch it from white guys that can't and aren't supposed to understand what I do. I posted a video response to the Kimbo fight last night on youtube and you should have seen all the comments from lame ass fools from places like Canada and England calling me "wigger" like they just discovered the word and want to have fun with it. The same racism that assumes all black people are hood is the same racism that assumes all white people are privelidged. People adhere to what they Identify with. I think a lot more white people are gonna start understanding rap music once they get their homes forclosed on and step down a notch on the social class ladder and have to deal with reality outside of their little cookie-cutter subdivisions.

I can't lie...I was offended by the song White Nigger. The song was dope, dope beat, and Ill Bill is a dope emcee. Gotta give it to him. But hearing the word Nigger come from the mouth of anyone who isn't black sets an alarm off in me. I don't care what context it's being used in, I can't help it! I feel the same way about John Lennon's "Woman Is The Nigger Of The World." You see, the thing with artists is this...they sometimes thrive on being controversial. Bill said it himself in so many words in this interview...just read between the lines. Bill could have took the low rode, but he's an artist...and artists always wanna make a HUGE fuckin statement.

But dude really does seem down to earth. And after reading this interview, I think I do understand why he recorded the song. So I'll give him a pass and go cop the album and check it out. Now...if he comes out with a White Nigger 2, or an album called White Nigger, or uses the word nigger ever again, I'mma have to go see him. Period.

Nah, actually both you dudes actually got a point, even though FEBword tried to air me out. If he would just read my posts, he'd see that I actually share the same views as him. As a white guy i think NO WHITE PERSON no matter what should use that word. I grew up with my best friend who is african American and his family and I would never under any circumstance use that word. If he grew up in Brooklyn he should no better not to use it, even if its just a song and it meant something you still shouldnt use it! If it was to sell records than thats fucked up!! I think its fucked up when white people say why can they say it and we cant, im white and I know that when white people use it its in a racial way.
