Well i created an account so just so i can comment on this. i've been a fan of drake since he was acting on degrassi. And, when i heard he could rap i didn't give him the time of day, until i heard one song. As soon as i heard that song i heard a few more and now i have both of his mix tapes and as soon as his album thank me later drops in 09 i will have that too. And to be blunt i'm from Georgia where everyone loves wayne and even i KNOW that drake ghost writes for him, i'm just glad he finally got signed ( not a dime under a million) and when he blows up he can finally drop wayne, cuz the nigga's peaked. i dont think any labels are handing out big contracts now-a-days. Especially to unestablished artists. In fact, most labels are trimming the fat, as well as staff in other departments at the label. With the way cds sales are going I'd be surprised if he ever makes it.

i could not have put it any better then Jimmy ivoine just did about this young fellow and all those that will make it big.

if u want someone to hear your message it should be universal to the ears. The fact that he can understand what Drake is spitting is so so important...u guys dont know how many immigrant friends i have, and this is the exact reason why they love jay, em , game etc...they are very easy to listen too...and the pronunciation is on point with Drake. Props again to Jimmy, for referring to the breaths and the pauses... these intangibles let the punch lines hit harder....man this is why he is head of Interscope, i forget that sometimes.

overall...im so excited for this young fellow, i heard of him via wayne from the semtix interview i think....i truthfully did not think he is this good....very innovative....i think this guy will be very very big.....i mean legendary status? maybe.

question is, did he come at the right time? have we had our fill of wayne for the last 2-years? are we ready for another "God-like" MC to grab the torch? was wayne meant to blow, and through this notoriety meet Drake?????
