Man I love Warren, dude is sick, I been A fan of his since day dot... I said for time His production skills are underrated, He done stuff for 2Pac's albums done stuff on Doggystyle,... He takes the same process As Dre tryin to use unknown artists... I see Frank Lee White on here the other day, first I herd from Him was on Warrens Mid Night Hour. I hope this album is better than Midnight Hour, coz compared to his other joints that was kinda weak... His previous realaeses where 9 or 10/10 Midnight Hour was not up to the other standards... LOL...what? I'm not sure if that's a diss or not, but it's funny!

Anyway...shout out to the homie Warren G. I always thought he was a solid artist / producer. Regulate (The G Funk Era) is a classic...that Recognize track with the Snoop sample still goes hard today, and is a testament of how Warren was ahead of his time. Today, it is common for a hook to be scratches and samples (eg Bun B's Draped Up, Pimp C's Knocking Doorz Down, etc).

Unfortunately, I think Warren G ran out of steam after his Take A Look Over Your Shoulder album, and I haven't really been checking for him since. But that The Crush joint is pretty hot, so I may actually cop this album.

That was my second or 10th cd. Back in the day I used to order cd's from those companies where you pay like $1.49 for 12 cd's and they send you one a month for like $19.78 I ordered them under fake names so I never had to pay for them except for the inital $1.49.

I feel ya on that buutt, he topped it. Regulate was like how the roots would put it " smoothed out on some real melodic shit" Plus you cant hear regulate without the video in your mind and that was a simple smoothed out video with nate killin it, everything about regulate was right! Has to be in the top 10 west coast joints of all time, its in my top 5 right before the formula and just behind G thang

I'm trippin Bishop Lamont and Frank Lee White wasn't on that one. As a matter of fact the lead single for that CD was a track produced by Dre, it's called Lookin at You. There was a lot of songs with Mista Grimm on that album. It's still his best one production wise to me.
