This wasn't a piece to shit on Vivica. This was an interview to give her a chance to speak her piece about the gossip that's been put out, and of course talk about the Cover movie.

To address the questions about the questions we didn't ask (or the ones we did ask that weren't answered)...

It always seems like it'd be easy to ask these questions, but when you have a publicist on the line hovering over your interview in case you're asking something that isn't about the movie (and interrupting when you try to ask other questions), and when you're told they won't answer certain things in advance, then you can only do what you can do as a journalist.

As you can see, I got in one good question about the movie, and used the rest of the time to discuss her career and to let Viv address some of the negativity thrown at her. If you want rumors, etc. then go to Rumors. That's Illseed's specialty, and Lord knows Viv has shown up enough in that section.

I think the tabloids wreck these artists' lives enough. Vivica has given us a lot of good movies over the years, and she deserves the same respect you would want if you were speaking on your life.

I spent that entire 14 weeks on the road with Auntie Viv touring with the play Whatever she Wants. The way that she fought to make sure everyone was taken care of and not just scammed on and over looked by these shady promoters and theives in the urban theater market was almost super hero like. It is impossible for the average person to hear about all the good a person does because of the few negative things that get reported.

I can tell your for fact that Ms Foxx has never allowed any of her cast and crew on the road to ever pay for a meal without her first wipping out her credit card or cash.

She carries alot of stress on her shoulders, some of it self-inflicted, but most of it comes from sincerely trying to be a good person and not stepped on by the shiessty and evil minded people in this business. Give the lady her props for her work and keep it moving.

All that stuff with 50 and the DUI is a product of her dealing with this industry the best way that she can. No ones perfect but she is far from a grimey person unless you trying to get over on her first! PEACE
