Aye...I gotta see this Iron Man movie, that and the New Batman joint coming this summer. The only way you wouldnt understand the excitement for these comics--to--film movies is if you aint have a childhood. lol.

Robert Downey Jr. is making an appearance in the Hulk movie, but it's not formally tied to Iron Man (per the cast). We have some behind-the-scenes interviews with the cast coming up!

@ Cholo
You'll get SUCH a better effect if you see it in the theater - just hit a matinee when the youngins are still in school :-)

Also, yes, Ghostface's scene was cut, although his video and song do appear in one scene in the movie. I do hope they include his scene in the DVD extras, it sounds like it was a cool look for him too.

i really liked the film. like spiderman, the xmen and the hulk, i expect the sequel to be better. this was about a 4/5...maybe 4.5. the special effects are super ill.

man this movie is off the scale....went to the movies to watch harold and kumar saw there was a suprise screening opt for iron man instead left there wanting for the second one to come out

Hopefully this isn't said too late, but don't read any reviews until AFTER you have seen the movie...unless you just LIKE giving all that money away. I've got one rule with reviews: I don't read them unless there's no chance of me going to the theater to see it for myself...I'm trying to decide if it goes in the Netflix queue at that point. I knew I was going to see it, and I skipped the reviews until afterwards. Most of the reviews that I've read are fairly accurate if not overly critical. AHH's was pretty much on point (and less revealing than any of the others at least).

This is a safe non-spoiling statement that you would probably have guessed anyway...I would agree that a few more epic fight scenes were in order. If you saw Transformers and was spoiled in that respect, that will be your takeaway as well. But in any case, well worth the 8 dollars spent and the DVD that's going to also find a home in my collection.
