I wanna go see it. A lot of ppl didn't like the show...and it did bring up some moral issues. But I loved it. It was funny. OH! And the fashion...the shoes, the clothes....Carrie Bradshaw singly handedly introduced Christian Loboutin's to the uncultured world, LOL.

Welcome to the Film section. Plenty of people who like Hip Hop like SATC. And most of the people who like it are not men, so why did you even click?

Aaaanyway, I went to a damn near sold out 10:45 am show up the street in Harlem this morning (since every literally every theater in NY was sold out yesterday, unless you wanted to hit a 1:30 or 2:30am showing!) and I have to say I agree with the review wholeheartedly. It's everything the real finale should have been. NOW I feel like I get some closure... even if they do end up making another one.

I didn't really like Jennifer's role in the film - a little too contrived in terms of the way she fit into the film. She kind of represents the idealism that Carrie had once upon a time though I guess. It's def a great look for her career regardless.

The movie was the bomb. Even if you watch it and never saw the series you will get the movie and I think any female will love it! If you did watch the series you be in Love with it....

This movie was good but I don't know about it transcending race or age. I kept seeing 4 old, White women. Jennifer Hudson's over acting works in a musical, not a real movie.

That's understandable for a lot of people. I don't really think it transcends race or age either. The series ran for 6 seasons (10 years total). People who were 20+ when it started actually grew with it (and aged with it) - although I'd venture to say the 28+ ladies probably related more to it from the beginning.
