THIS MAKES IT JUST THAT MUCH HARDER TO GET PEOPLE TO GET TESTED.

THEN YOU HAVE THOSE BITCH ASS MEN THAT SLEEP WITH MEN ON THE DOWN LOW. (INMATES INCLUDED)

THEN THIER ARE WOMEN WHO SLEEP WITH THESE MEN, NOT KNOWING HOW THEY ARE PUTTING THEMSELVES AT RISK

WE ALSO HAVE THE WOMEN WHO ARE DEDICATED TO MEN THAT THEY KNOW AREN'T FAITHFULL. I HAD A FRIEND THAT TOLD ME SHE AIN'T NO HO, AND THAT HER DUDE IS THE ONLY PERSON SHE IS F****N. ONLY PROBLEM IS SHE AIN'T THE ONLY ONE HE IS F****N. IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW DEDICATED YOU ARE, IF YOU KNOW HE AIN'T.....

THE BOTTOM LINE IS THAT WE NEED TO STOP BEING IGNORANT, AND EDUCATE OURSELVES ABOUT HIV/AIDS.

WRAP THAT SHIT UP AND GO GET TESTED, GO GET THE RESULTS, AND IF YOU ARE POSITIVE TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF AND GET MEDICAL HELP. IF NOT, CELEBRATE WITH A BLUNT AND SOME REMY...............

COME TO THINK ABOUT IT, IF YOU ARE POSITIVE YOU MIGHT WANT TO HIT THAT BLUNT AND THAT REMY TOO.........

re: HIV/AIDS: An Epidemic in the African American Community

These are the issues that we should be investing our money in to work towards finding cures to these ailments since we are heavily impacted by them. HIV/AIDS and Diabetes are two diseases that we certainly should invest in researching cures headed up by researchers and doctors we can actually trust. Educating ourselves about them is the first step, then we have to start financing our own research programs.

We are heavily impacted in America and Africa by HIV/AIDS but where are our research centers? Why are we waiting on the U.S. Government, Bill Gates or Bono? The Hip Hop community acts like it's so obsessed with money anyway, where is it for the issues that really matter. I don't have Oprah money yet, but those are some good areas where I will be putting my money. I don't care about buying a Bentley really. One of my best friends mother and her fiancee` died from HIV/AIDS, I watched her die slowly from it. If you have seen someone you know and love die from it you cannot imagine it. It is a very dangerous disease and high risk sexual activity is the leading cause of the disease in Black women and black men.

Our community is always under attack and the interesting thing is Black men and women are no more promiscuous than white men and women, yet we tend to contract this particular disease at higher rates. Syphilis killed the native Americans, but the Europeans that brought it over here were immune to it for the most part. I'm not going to rant on about any conspiracy, but it does make you question the origins of this disease. We live in an era of modern biological warfare, they have all types of biological agents. Nobody talks about it. Remember the Tuskegee institute experiment. We need to be careful and get control of our health care.

re: HIV/AIDS: An Epidemic in the African American Community

here are a couple of websites to get more info on HIV/AIDS....Please spread the info and don't let any person near you subcomb to ignorance....teach and preach.....and also practice what you preach.......

re: HIV/AIDS: An Epidemic in the African American Community

AIDS is the scariest thing on earth...i'd rather take my chances with a bullet than Efff with the monster

re: HIV/AIDS: An Epidemic in the African American Community

support knowledge and education.. become more aware of HIV/Aids and other STDs..
