@Boss Up I concur. Mayweather is the G.O.A.T.

There is no one in boxing that could even come close to him. He is that far ahead of the comp. People keep waiting on his skills to diminsh, but to me he keeps getting better and better.

First of all.. that was a sick knock out.. I think Pavliks knockout on taylor may have been more entertaining. Pavlik is deff. the fighter of the year.

Mayweather is a great fighter, tru indeed, but he's not fun to watch. Not what so ever and his attitude is so shitty. If I see Mayweather knock someone out I think I'd like him a little more but he's just not that type of fighter. It's a very boring style to watch. Unless they get some fighters like Tyson or Hollyfield back in the ring I'm going to stick to UFC.

Unless it's Pavlik.. I will purchase everyone of that guys fights.

OD stop hating on Floyd. I think Roy and Floyd are greats. They are sooo much better than their opponents, some feel they havnt been challenge. Roy went several years where no fighter lasted in the ring with him, he was TKO/KO -ing everyone. Roy has exceptional speed and power.

Floyd is sooo fast but what makes him so great is that he has mastered the basics of boxing. He beats opponents with the simpliest of moves. What separates him from the rest is that he trains like a mad man. Running all day and odd times of the night. His stamina is great making his jab stay swift and striking in all the rounds. He has wonderful head movement, moves with his jab and is always in a position to counter. These are basics taught in every gym in the world. Guys just sway from them, instead choosin to try to knock a guys head off. Think about it, how many boxers today are as fundamentally sound as Floyd.

wow that knockout was funny..lol yea floyd is the GOAT.. would sugar ray found a way to beat floyd.. blame time for that battle not to happpen.. floyd doesnt use a lot of combination, mostly cause he doesnt have to.. its hard to beat someone who doesnt leave an open for a counter punch..

I'd to agree with most of you that Floyd may be the best boxer out there right now...I mean everytime he whoops somebody they are quick to say well he didnt beat this guy, Although Oscar is real weak I still think he will destroy anybody thats out there that he could fight. I mean if anybody watch boxing they would know that cotto chin is kind of suspect. I've watched his fight against Chop Chop and if the refs aint save his ass chop chop probably had a shot to beat him. He buckled cotto knees early in the fight. I mean Paul Williams may give him some go...But for my money I have to say Mayweather all day long.

Floyd is the best right now. But I wouldn't go as far as saying he's the G.O.A.T..Sugar Ray Robinson has to be number 1. Then I'd say either Sugar Ray Leonard or Ali, if not Marciano follow up. After that you have an argument as to putting Floyd in the top 5. I would like to see Floyd vs Mosley or Cotto. Mosley for the simple fact that he beat DLH twice and would match up well vs. Mayweather. Speed and power would be comparable. As for Cotto, well he's young, undefeated and a champion so it would be a great fight. If he does defeat one or maybe both then you have to catapult him as one of the Greatest if not the G.O.A.T...But I still think he's 2 or 3 BIG fights away from that right now
