O shit jeezy kinda switching up flow.kanye needs to use his regular  voice.I thought kanye was going to use the roger troutman voice box in a creative way but he fucked it up.good song would have been better without the R.T.V box.

I think it's time for t pain to make a diss song to all the people out there miss using the voice box thing(except snoop & shawty red)

The whole track is hot.

Jeezy should have changed up the format though, maybe his verse -> Kanye West's verse -> Jeezy to close it out.

I doubt Kanye is being serious with the voice thing, if he does another track like it then I can see it being annoying but until then shit is hot.

I like it, although Jeezy is still talking about the same old shit in every song. He could be alot better if he could maybe do some storytelling or come up with something else to rap about. Kanye is just experimenting Im sure. At least he is trying to keep you on your toes and you dont know what to expect when you hear one of his songs. Gotta keep it fresh if you wanna stick around in this biz.

This track goes hard like most of Jeezy's material. His lyrics are more clever than usual on this track but i'm still anticipating more from him. I cant say that im completely feeling 'Ye on the vocoder but i can respect the dare to try it out. It's just become a fad that i dont think works with every artist. I dont think it matches the track, but someone will enjoy it and they'll both get paid good for it so i cant hate!

i'll be ridin to this throughout the summer, voicebox or not. i hate kanyes ego but u cant argue with the music. jeezy been bangin, both his albums are classics in my own personal catalogue. i dont give a shit if hes not droppin knowledge or multiple flows or tellin stories.. his beat selection is almost ALWAYS on point.. u combine that with his delivery its good in my book. only time i get sick of him is on his mixtapes then it gets a little oversaturated.. but he definitely saves his best work for his albums, the way it should be.

"i feel like theres still niggas that owe me checks/ i feel like theres still bitches that owe me sex!"

yea....no

most slept on MC's should include Serius Jones, Joell Ortiz, Chino XL...

and stating the top 5 dead and not including Pun or Big L but adding Pimp C over it does not make sense...Pimp C was nice but common now Souljah Slim...he was not a beast like Pun or Pac or Big or Big L...wich he shouldve been included

and top 5 alive....u put jada...yet no eminem....thats...off really...and lil wayne shouldnt b in the top 5 he is top 15 yes but top 5 na...and I dont know y Jay Z is not there? or Ghostface or Kool G Rap or Rakim or anyone who deserves to be on that list...id include Saigon before id say twista.....also Andre3000......and theres more artist that should be infront of some of the top 5

and this song is dope the beat dope and Jeezy did his thing I had to listen to it like 10 times be4 I really started liking Kanye part....but its not bad....I prefer his regular voice..

Russell Simmons started Def Jam West in the 90's.  The first artist he signed was from Compton, CA and Russell was very hyped about his first west coast artist to rep Def Jam. Unfortunately, the Polygram label that Russell had his Def Jam West deal through went under before his new artist album came out. Here's the two videos of the famous Def Jam artist who never got a real chance to shine.

For every fan there's a thousand MCs so you may ask what makes me so different? I'M NOT AFRAID TO BE JUST THAT, DIFFERENT.

Longevity is my aim. Not one hit but hit ALBUMS. Not music for the time but music that's timeless.

ANYBODY can put together some words that rhyme over a beat but only a few can put words together that actually have meaning. I do understand that music is a business and entertainment therefore you can't bombard the listeners with all songs that have a meaning quote on quote, you have to balance it out. That way everyone wins including the artist, label, and the fans(consumers) Lately it seems that the only rappers getting signed are one hit wonders due to the fact that labels are afraid to take chances. What I mean by that is for example snap and crank music. Since that's the so called IN music, labels would rather sign a rapper that has one of those songs because they look at it like, ok we know this music is in RIGHT NOW so let's not take any chances. The result of that is ARTISTS like myself suffer. That was just one scenario. I'll give you one more, labels don't want to take chances signing an artist that nobody knows anything about. They expect you to already have x amount of radio spins, sold x amount of copies already on your own. Ok well what about ARTISTS who are in situations where they can't provide those things due to them holding down a full time job and in my case a part time job as well to feed their family?? To provide those things you have to eat, shyt(pardon my language), and sleep music every day. The only way you can do that is that you have a steady stream of income coming in and a lot of time on your hand, who would most likely fit that description? I’ll tell you who, a drug dealer. A drug dealer has income and nothing but time on they’re hand. (Now I’m not knocking drug dealers I did it for 10 years. I only stopped when I had my first son) However 9x out of 10 the dealer who can provide labels with what they’re looking for can’t rap for example Shorty Lo.. I could go on but I’ll stop there. I know I was meant to do music and it took me a while to realize that. It took everyone around me constantly saying wow, you have it . I mean and it’s not just people who know me saying this. I can walk in a room full of people that I’ve never seen before in my life and put my cd in and they’re completely blown away by my talent. I said all of the above to say this, just having TALENT is not good enough if the labels are afraid to take a chance on you. Will you be that label to take a chance???????????

To all Labels- PLEASE LISTEN TO THE SONGS ON MY PAGE(myspace.com/realsouthmusic)... If you're feeling em get at me. If you’re not convinced by the songs on my page and want to hear more, get at me, I’ll send you my entire album that I recently completed.
