when i was young and BDP came out and KRS was in his prime, i didnt like the shit. as i got older and went from my teens and through my 20's i started to appreciate what he had to say. i wouldnt expect young hip hop heads to appreciate KRS, not because he is over their head but because he does have that old school delivery and can sound condescending. I really try to keep generational bias out of it cause i like rappers, MC's and producers of all ages and styles. thats what keeps this game goin. like i said earlier, at the age im at now, he's at #2. we could take a 40, 30 and 20 year old hip hop fan and each one of their top 5's are gonna be different.
