I respect 50's business mind but how can you honestly believe that 50 Cent is a much needed addition to hip hop. What he does is poison not only to hip hop but black people in general. I may have to agree that G-unit is bigger than the roc as far as success and numbers go. G-unit ony been around for like a good 4 years as far as the world knowing about it. The rock been around since 96. G-unit have brought in alot more revenue in a shorter period of time. The roc was hard because they shaped what g-unit is today. G-unit did what every click/label coming up wanted to acheive. Almost every artist got there time to shine and do some numbers. The roc had mad projects that never came out. If the roc didn't split they might have had a chance, but JAY went for the money. The only thing that the roc had that G-unit didn't have was loyal fans. Every body respected the roc because it was a brand of success and everyone knew how it started. So the average fan felt like the roc was built on some hope type shit for street niggas. G-unit blow up so fast, it became a fad to fuck with they shit. New 50 fans did not have time to grow with the success of g-unit so niggas just started hatin on g-unit like they was on some put together type shit. But g_unit will be on the same level as the roc as far as loyalty goes after a couple more years.

I think there was a point when Beans was lyrically consider on hovs level. But business wise he was not there. Jay was always hot, but Beans was his (Buck) at one point. Remember when he went at kiss. He was the Broad st bully. Dudes in the street felt like he brought the grimmy swag to the roc. Before he joined Jay was rockin Versace suits with strip shirts and top hats. His street cred was there, but niggas from the hood was on some Nas/mobb deep/biggie type shit. Jay was a little to clean cut at the time. He threw back on the TIMs and posted up in the hood, came out with beans and bleek and the streets really started to relate to him more. If beef ever broke out with the roc, you would exspect beans to set it off first before HOV. Hov was like the business man which you can compare to 50, but the difference is that 50 will set it off. Beans was like the clean up man which you can compare to buck, but buck seems a little more business minded. So I think the loyalty is something that will be gained over time as long as they keep things balanced between the streets and there success. (Nobody likes a person who get to Hollwood on them.)
