Now for my comments. We have just witnessed a beautiful collaboration. I am proud to say that I am a fan of Grown man hip hop. I hate to title something let it be known this is HIP HOP from someone who embraces his age. When are people going to realize that lyricist get better with age. Jay z, Common, KRS, NAS, Eminem all in their mid to late 30's and at the top of their game. Funny how all of our fore fathers of this game are just barely in their 40's. If you are a fan of real hip hop do whatever you can download it whatever but when it hits the store support it. Real hip hop is an endangered whenever someone puts out a new dance Saigon, Common, etc gets pushed back.

Gotta love this, Common is one of the most consistent MC's in the game point blank, I know he kinda lost a few people on Electric Circus, but he took it where Rappers are afraid to venture without being "branded" or "labled". They make real music and its a breath of fresh air. Its ok to jam and club every now and then but FUCK...can I here something soulful/real/from the heart.

I fucks with Common. Cats like him inspire me to make the kind of music I make. I'm not saying I'm on his level yet but I can hold my own and I try to make music thats true to who I am. I been to a concert of his in Myrtle Beach, SC and he's a hell of a performer.

i can't front i like common when he was spiitin harder rhymes, i know you gotta grow as a artist but i wish he was still spittin like he did on (One Day It'll All Make SENSE) or (Resurrection), his music now makes me wanna hold hands with my girl and discuss our feelings, but it's cool i'll give it a 7/10

Just Blaze got Soul. The remix on the Bamboozled Soundtrack was better in my opinion this is tight as well. Common has benefited from better producers in his more recent efforts. I have been a supported since I heard Breaker 1/9 back in high school. Common has gotten better with time. I wasn't feelin' the Electric Circus but the circus has definitely left town. In my humble opinion "One Day It Will All Make Sense" is his best album with "Be" coming in second. "Like Water For Chocolate" influenced from a fellow Detroiter the late James Yancey AKA J-Dilla is also a great album.
