Contrary to published reports, superstar rapper The Game has not been banned from conducting interviews on BBC's Radio 1 station, AllHipHop.com has learned.

Last week, various websites, including AllHipHop.com, reported that the rapper was permanently banned from conducting interviews, due to homophobic comments the rapper made during an interview last
summer.

A complaint was filed against the BBC over the homophobic comments the rapper made during a July 2006 interview on The Jo Whiley Show on BBC's Radio 1.

According to the false reports, The Game was supposedly banned from conducting interviews on the BBC due to the comments, but his music would still be allowed to be played of the airwaves.

A representative for the BBC told AllHipHop.com that the information is in accurate.

"The BBC does not ban artists, but we do have editorial guidelines making clear that we do not condone homophobic comments or bad language, which all artists are expected to follow when they are on air during a live interview," a representative for BBC's Radio 1 told AllHipHop.com.

The warning comes as The Game tours Europe on a promotional tour and is scheduled to make several interview appearances on Radio 1 and 1Xtra.

WTF does being "real" have to do with anything and the fact you said he was "right" for saying thatis stupid there is NO right or WRONG its a god damn opinion shows how prevelant ignorance is...If you are a minority or non-white member of this society esp a black person you should not be discriminating against other groups even if you dont agree with it keep it to yourself he made himself out to be what he really is an ignorant hypocrite.

There is a time and place for everything. If you hate on a certain segment of the population, do not divulge that during a live interview unless you are willing to deal with the ramifications. Then again maybe Jayceon Taylor knows exactly what he is doing from a marketing and branding standpoint vis a vis his hip hop persona as The Game. Game is not only one of Cali's favorite emcees (Nickerson Gardens, stand up), but from what I can tell dude has a hood MBA (Black Wall Street, in the building). Keep your game tight bruh and know you have two ears and one mouth. My advice would be to use them in that proportion while live.....

Why invite someone to an interview and then censor what they have to say. The media has Game labeled as a Gangsta Rapper are they really shocked at anything that he has to say?

to sum it up. sometimes we give them reasons to wanna fuck with the rap game by saying lil shit like that. use that freedom of speech on wax not the public airwaves. if the rap game do that then they cant tell us not a dam thang cause they know whats potentially on that cd that they lil white kids bought they paid to hear that. the radio on the other hand its not a direct pay to hear although we pay to listen to regular f.m. but not in the sense of going to cop a cd its like network tv and cable rappers say that shit on the pay to hear waves not that free shit any lil bobby or jonathan can stumble across. im not famous so i can put my foot in my mouth and make a " should be Banned comment" lol

I got a gay relative n he cool he deals with all kinds a shit all time esp from black men....Its Like someone who is bullied their whole lives turns around n becomes a cop this the same shit.

BuddenzMoodMuzik... I dig the fact about saying it period. we cant control what people say or think, like if u curse in front of a church and then look to the sky and say sorry. whether u do it in front of a church or in your bedroom its wrong I got that. I was just saying with all the hate because of the success of hip hop as a genre of music they need to not say shit like that publicly on national tv or a radio station keep it on wax cause they pay to rap believe it or not they dont pay to do a interview on the radio and they agree to the rules of that station now having done that it brought negative attention to the rap game and now more rappers going  to complain about how they not viewed as a positive. how can u with all the negative press your genre create. thats coming from me being fed up with the way hip hop is portrayed. u lost me on the lil kids frontin hollerin crip. I was making the truth be known by saying "white kids" cause the fact is if the music wasnt reaching white america's kids they wouldnt give a fuck but their kids are listening thats why its a problem thats where all this banned shit comes from when whites have a problem with it. like with music ray charles did. they didnt give a fuck about him till they kids started dancing to that shit you dig thats what its about. and now u got al sharpton and jesse and oprah doing the white folks work fuckin with the niggas. such as the mike vick thing I dont fight dogs myself or see it as fun but why fuckin make so much noise about fighting pit bulls and then come this december those same people turn around and go kill deer and ducks. now what if whites fought dogs as a sport then what since its strictly an african american in da hood nigga sport hang those fuckers, feel me. Thats just a lil frustration let loose " free Niggas"

At Jaeda: Point well taken, but people calling you black is not derogatory like calling out someone who is gay a faggot. I love pussy, so I can't speak from personal experience, but I would almost guarantee that homosexuals would take offense by being called a faggot just like any black person might be offended being called the n-word derogatorily.

At Buddenz: Slow your roll. Hip hop needs open communication and for all people to have a voice. By calling other people idiots in no way strengthens your viewpoint, in fact it diminishes it.

At coon66: True dat on one of your points. Game needs to keep that kind of rhetoric on wax. Saying it on the public airwaves erodes hip hop's credibility as one of the most important musical and cultural movements in history. Game's comments just gives fools who know nothing about hip hop ammunition to try and degrade it. If done on wax, it is social commentary through raw lyricism which is one of the pillars of the art form we all love. Done on live radio, it is pure verbal diarrhea...

Finally at xFlipZx, Boss Up and crazy ass yelluh boi: As said before, you have as much right as anyone else to speak up. However, if you come on here and post up, bring your A game. Think Kenneth Chenault or Harry Allen not Ezell from Friday....

BuddenzMoodMuzik...As a black man, I don't care what David Duke thinks or says about me.  Wise men care little about the thoughts of fools.  Bigotry only becomes an issue when it leads to unlawful discrimination -- the two are very different.  People of color have just as much right to have an opinion as ANYONE, regardless of how foolish that opinion may seem.

I look at Game in the same way I look at Don Imus.  They should be able to say what they want.  That's what makes this country so great.  Censoring them only invigorates their supporters.  A better defense would be to hit them where it hurts -- their wallets.  Look how effective that method of retaliation was in PETA's disagreement with Michael Vick's alleged offenses.

The Game is starving for attention too. The Rap version of Terrell Owens...hella talented, but just a weirdo.

Im just callin it like i see it.....n im sorry but there are ALOT of stupid people out there......

and my last point on this is if you look at Game hes been a fraud all along..."FIFTY ONLY HELPED ME WRITE 3 SONGS ON MY ALBUM N HE WAS JUST WRITIN THE HOOKS"He forgets to mention those three songs where his singles thats why 50 said he did the album cause without the 50 beef n him writin the singles he wouldnt have blown like he did for that short time.Top of that hes usin 50s tactic of goin at the biggest (jay,50,nas)and tryin to get their shine to reflect on him hes more of a record company concotion than anyone.....I even saw an interview where hes like"Soon as I walked in the studio Dre looked at me n said 'Yeah I Could Do Something With This Dude Right Here'" maybe game took it as dre thinkin he was official but Dres a smart buisness man i think he saw a charecter beside that if you came at me with a butterfly tattoo on your face claimin blood id smack shit out of you.
