I'm sure this woman did not attend this concert to receive money. I'm sure Wayne didn't tell people "hey, step back if you don't want to get rained on." This is another case of when people do ignorant things in situations that don't call for it.

I didn't even read Fly Boy's comments....but yours are laughable too. Look - you don't sue someone instantly. You can't just run into a court room and fill out the paper work (unless it's a small court and you have all the proof needed RIGHT THEN)

She more than likely went through the regular process - meet with a lawyer. Discuss your injuries. Get doctors to confirm those injuries. Build a lawsuit which you feel you can win. Inform the other side that there will potentially be a lawsuit.  And once again depending on the size and wait time of the court, being the process of suing. Typically one side will offer arbitration. (FYI, those court shows you see, that's arbitration basically).
