Rap mogul Percy "Master P." Miller is partnering with actor Seth Green (Austin Powers, Family Guy, Robot Chicken) to produce a Hip-Hop role playing 3-D video game titled "Play the Industry."

Miller's Miller Enterprises teamed with Green and Matthew Senreich to make the game, which creators described as similar to the popular video game "The Sims."

In "Play the Industry," gamers assume the role of a rapper, an agent, a power broker or an athlete in a quest for fame.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, developers are currently creating a script for "Play the Industry," which is currently in production and should hit retail stores in 2009.

Master P. and company hope the game will live on multiple platforms and spin off other franchises, including a clothing line and a motion picture.

In related news, Master P. will visit Charlotte, North Carolina on September 12 to promote his new book, Guaranteed Success: When You Never Give Up.

The mogul will appear at the Barnes and Noble in the Arboretum on September 12, at 7 p.m, where he will sign autographs, CD's and copies of Guaranteed Success.

Not too sure what I think about this one...P. Miller always about gettin that money though. I've never played the Sims so I'm not real sure about how that works. I wonder if you're gonna have to write the rhymes yourself..

Read my previous comments bruh...I ain't beefing with you or trying to argue with you but did you really click on the article just to post something negative? I think if "P" gave half his money to the public school system in the inner cities some of y'all would still be like whatever..I understand the cat ain't really relevant when it comes to music but come on pimp...That's the wrong mentality for you to be having and the man trying to do something positive and teach ni99az how to build wealth by using a video game..

... yeah... they're going to have a game level where the rapper has NOTHING SELLING, music wise, so to make headlines, he has to use the joystick to pick between two decisions :  1)  GET SHOT 9 TIMES   or   2) SUDDENLY DO A  180  AND OPPOSE USING THE 'N WORD' IN ALL FUTURE MUSIC.   One of those options will let you get a media attention and thus second life for the rapper character, after you burned through your first 3.

P what is wrong with you. These young kids don't read or can't read. Stop thinking outside the box. Give us young black youth what we want and need; death, violence, crime, that crack. Nevermind that you are one of the first to do the mogul thing. Nevermind that you did it with your own indie label. Nevermind that 50 cent is a carbon copy of you (rapper who really has no lyrical skills, but can still make a hit record). Nevermind you did all that while reppin where you was from and not HATING on anybody out there on their grind (you know that crab in a barrel complex people in the industry have). Nevermind that when you were on top you put on good artist (C-Murder, Mystikal, Snoop, Fiend, Mia X, Soulja Slimm, etc...). Nevermind that while the south had big artist, until you did your thing and brought the spotlight, they got even bigger. Nevermind you setting a good example by being their for your family, and staying around to make your sons men, instead of hating little boys. Nevermind you got a tryout for a NBA team in you thirties with no real professional experience (Anybody can do that).

Thanks for nothing P. We don't need success stories for people from the hood. Go away, so the real men of hip hop can lead the way. By the way don't let your little ones walk home from school by themselves. The crew will roll up on youngin and slap him around, then lie about it like some shameful ass bitches. (I was not there, I don't know what happened, those bruises are fake.) You know how it goes.

Real men stand up. Don't let the ignorance go unchecked. Shout out to GawgaBwoy770.

I couldn't have said it better..Ni99az act like they don't remember who bum rushed the game and really taught these boyz how to get that money on the independent level without selling out..50 made around 40 million last year and I think it was his best year...I think P made over 100 million for a few years bc at one time his net worth was around 350 million...

P DID SOMETHING THAT WAS AND STILL IS UNHEARD OF IN THE MUSIC GAME. WHICH IS TO HAVE A RECORD DEAL, BUT KEEP THE BULK OF THE MONEY. HE NEVER LET THE INDUSTRY PIMP HIM, HE PIMPED THE INDUSTRY.

I gotta salute the people who understood that P came in the game as hustler and made the transformation to a business man and father. I guess a lot of us must still be stuck in step 1 so we dont see it. But dude is the Blueprint for alot of these label artist/CEOs.

So props to him for showin how to get money. Video game or whatever. Some of these rappers now just show us how to be more fuckin consumers. We aint all rich.
