Diddy Open To Video For 'I Get Money' Remix With Jay-Z And 50 Cent

By Roman Wolfe and Martin Berrios

Sean "Diddy" Combs recently revealed that he was open to participate in a video for the "I Get Money" billionaire remix, which features fellow moguls Jay-Z and 50 Cent.

The single is the third release from 50 Cent's hit album Curtis, which recently landed on the shelves and moved over 650,000 copies the first week in stores.

"If it came down to a video, I would make sure the video is right," Sean "Diddy" Combs told AllHipHop.com. "The session was the way you can imagine it. It was a billion dollars in the building. It was a lot of power in there. You basically had the powerhouses of Hip-Hop all in one room and we had a ball."

The remix is a historic collaboration, as all three rappers landed on Forbes' Richest Rappers list for 2006.

Jay-Z landed at #1 by earning $34 million dollars in 2006, 50 Cent hit #2 by earning $32 million dollars and Combs landed the #3 position by earning $28 million dollars.

All three have also had previous beefs, which seem to have been buried.

"The beauty about it at the end of the day we all love to make music," Combs said of any past issues. "It wasn’t no real egos involved, we all played our positions."

Combs, who graced the cover of Forbes with Jerry Seinfeld over ten years ago, said that he has been an avid reader of Forbes, Fortune Magazine and The Robb Report, magazines that he has also been featured in.

"People say that sh*t and they making it up [in their rhymes] but I was on the cover of Forbes with Jerry Seinfeld ten years ago. So the world is just catching up," Combs said. "I’ve had my subscription since I’ve been nineteen years old with Forbes and Robb Report and Fortune Magazine. I stays on the lists.
To have that articulated in the most craziest pop sh*t way and then to have two of your counterparts [50 Cent and Jay-Z] critique your verse and give it the thumbs up? It isn't even fair."

In related news, Combs hopes to add to his coffers with the release of his new fragrance, Unforgivable Woman.

The mogul caused a stir in the United States when MTV and other networks refused to air the advertisement, due to the sexual innuendoes contained in the commercial.

The advertisements have been toned down for television viewers, but the uncensored version was released on the Internet prior to the tamer version's debut.

"I feel strongly that this movie needs to be viewed and judged by the public rather than by executives," Diddy said in a statement. "Some people may be uncomfortable with the sensuality and sexual content, but it is important for them to make that decision personally."

I agree with nightfall, the remix is a C. And it's a bad C since you have great artist on one track.

Though Puffy can't rap for s**t it's still a powermove having him on there for all he's done in the game.

50 Too.

To me Hov should REALLy be bringing it but he comes through sounding lazy. Don't waste money on a video.

ya hatin..... this is history because these are three black men who made a huge success off of hip-hop in some way or fourm, And they are sharing the same space on a track. This track is not lyrically hot, but it exspress the power of success because what they are talking about on the track is not ficton. You can take it lightly and say so what if they have money, but if you stop and think how that came from nothing to the forbes list. That have to give you hope that someday you can achieve that same success if you handle your business right. These three where not born into money, they earned it by making the right moves, working hard, and working smart. So on that note.......May we all get MONEY.........haHa

A)The "unity" shown is great but I'm one of those folk that says dont ask for praise when your doing what your SUPPOSED to do.Its like saying look at me I'm raising my kids. But thats what your supposed to do.
B)This would be a great hiphop moment if it leads to actual working relationships that went beyond just this song.Unfortunately this is all a part of 50's marketing for his own gain.
C)Classics are classic till time passes but even in there initial moments you feel something special. So whats the feeling from this remix?Look at us we have money???
