It is not the fact that he caught the charges that is the problem. Even brothers like Malcolm X lived the street life, did prison time, and changed his life around. Going to jail and being strapped is not the issue here. The issue here is the reasoning behind the multi-million dollar gangster image that the record companies have turned into a marketable commodity that must consistently characterize itself based on a caricature of urban decadence. What I am saying is even with all the changes I made in my life I still found myself challenged because even if you work hard to get out there are challenges. Favors are costly in the business. Don't ever do favors for free. You have to cut everybody from that life off for the most part when you start making the transition. Fuck they feelings, cut them niggaz off. If cats were dependent on your connection guess what, they don't want you to get out. Yes they will set you up, but even a set up has flaws most of the time. We can see that this was not a flawless sting just off what they released to the press. TIP just ignored all the signs, they were there and he didn't see them. It happens all the time. According to defsounds, TIP will remain in jail until his hearing this Friday, when the judge will determine whether or not he will qualify for bail before his trial. The article also says TIP is facing UP TO 10 years for his charges.
