Philadelphia rap star Beanie Sigel has announced that his new album The Solution will hit stores on December 11. The Solution is Sigel's follow up to this gold-selling 2005 release, The B. Coming. “I realize that the game has changed," Sigel said. "Everything sounds the same…very repetitive. The Solution is the answer to all of that. For those that want to here a little rock, jazz or soul, I got all of that!" In addition to the music, Sigel made sure he added a dose of reality on the album, by incorporating lessons he has learned from everyday life. "All the s**t I might go through in the course of a day is on my album," Sigel continued. "I'm talking about religion, spiritually, getting a piece of mind. All that counts and all that's in my music." The first single from the album is "All of the Above," which impacts radio on October 29.

Ruthless Records is preparing an album of all new material by Bone Thugs-N-Harmony titled T.H.U.G.S. The album contains 13 new unreleased songs featuring Bizzy Bone, Krayzie Bone, Layzie Bone and Wish Bone, all four original members of the group. T.H.U.G.S., which has no release date attached, features the group's trademark melodic rapid-fire style that has helped the group sell tens of millions of records. sold The first single being released from the album is titled "Wildin" and is available now on iTunes.

Season 4 of Run's House will premiere this Thursday (October 25) on MTV. This season the show features Rev. Run's daughters Vanessa and Angela attempt to move to Los Angeles, JoJo graduates from high school, Diggy starts liking girls and Russy is "growing up fast." Circumstances end up putting Angela and Vanessa back in Run's house, where the entire family lives under one roof for the entire summer. Season 4 of Run's House premieres on October 25 at 10:00 PM.

EMI Music Publishing has appointed Big Jon Platt as President of West Coast Creative, making him the company's most senior representative on the West Coast. The company's new CEO Roger Faxon announced that EMI was forming the North American Songwriter Leadership Council, which aims to deliver the highest level of services to its songwriters and composers. Platt will continue to run EMI Music Publishing's Urban Music department, a unit that has signed some of the biggest names in music, including Jay-Z, Kanye West, Usher, Ludacris, Young Jeezy, Mr. Collipark, Harold Lilly and Damon Thomas, Beyonce and others. “Big Jon has built his career by championing his songwriters,” said Faxon. “His passion for the music, his understanding of the creative process, his compassion for his songwriters and his clear-minded dedication to helping each of the writers he represents, sets him apart. He has raised the art of music discovery and client service to a whole new level. His track record says it all. That is why I am so pleased that Big Jon will now bring his energy, insight and dedication to our entire West Coast roster and will continue to serve our Urban writers.” Faxon also announced the promotion of Dan McCarroll, who will head up EMI's East Coast Creative team in New York. McCarroll has signed artists like Death Cab for Cutie, Panic! At The Disco, Gym Class Heroes and others.

I wouldn't be surprised if Beans' new album has very little commercial success.

Being committed to the streets doesn't bode well with average folks actually buying records.

Question for Rudy West; how old are you?  My guess is that you're about 10...maybe 11.  I can't give much credibility to the writer, when his or her article is full of grammatical errors.
